The COVID-19 shock has exposed the fragility contexts of human settlements.Spatial resilience has recently emerged as a "hot topic”,guiding the positive transformation of spatial planning governance. The Chinese primary and secondary schools has fully resumed face-toface classes after experiencing the extraordinary period of national epidemic crisis. It is urgent to put forward new guidelines in addressing public health emergencies, strengthen the maintenance of internal order on campus and maintain stability in the post-epidemic era.By explaining the related concepts of spatial resilience, the characteristics and components of spatial resilience of primary and secondary schools are explored. The current situation evaluation research is carried out with the existing primary and secondary schools in Wuhan as the object, and the optimization strategy is guided based on the vulnerability analysis,so that the primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era have the ability to resist, recover and adapt and develop continuously under the daily chronic pressure and acute impact of the epidemic. The specific content is divided into the following three parts :The first part is mainly concerned with the basic research thinking, which discusses the theoretical basis of spatial resilience, the new dimension of this concept in the post-epidemic era,and the connection between spatial resilience and primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era is established. From conceptual tools to knowledge paradigms, theories and application practices related to primary and secondary schools and spatial resilience in the postepidemic era are discussed;the applicability of spatial resilience to primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era is analyzed; On the basis of clarifying the research ideas of spatial resilience in the post-epidemic era,the spatial resilience elements that are conducive to epidemic prevention in the evolution of the spatial paradigm of primary and secondary schools and the characteristics of spatial resilience from the optimization practice cases of other building types in the post-epidemic era are explored. The second part takes Wuhan primary and secondary schools as the object, and conducts an empirical study, employing both quantitative and qualitative research methods.Based on the identified set of spatial elements in primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era,the path optimization is tested and quantitatively evaluated. The questionnaire on spatial resilience of primary and secondary schools was formulated through relevant materials, field research, expert meetings, etc. The current situation of the spatial resilience of primary and secondary schools is evaluated through mathematical statistical analysis of the survey samples;the optimization evaluation model for spatial resilience of primary and secondary schools is constructed through factor analysis;finally, the vulnerability analysis of primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era is carried out.The relationship attributes further explain the specific manifestations of the insufficiency of "usual-static element robustness" and "epidemicdynamic element adaptability" in primary and secondary schools. The third section identifies the design strategies.Combined with theory and practice, qualitative and quantitative research, the spatial resilience optimization strategies of "normalstatic robustness" and "epidemic-dynamic adaptation" are proposed for the vulnerability of primary and secondary schools in different tenses.Integrate the characteristics of space resilience, the elements of space resilience with the design concept,so that the elements of spatial resilience can contribute to the benign evolution of the adaptive cycle under the dynamic behavior in peacetime and during the epidemic. On the basis of clarifying the corresponding tenses of each spatial resilience element and the relevant optimal intervention plans, specific design strategies are proposed and elaborated with examples. To sum up,this study takes primary and secondary schools as the object to explore the optimization strategy of spatial resilience, which is a powerful supplement and expansion to the existing spatial resilience construction system. The self-development of the primary and secondary school space evaluation system is promoted in multiple directions by constructing the optimization path of spatial resilience characteristic elements, hoping to provide a basis for the government to improve and update relevant guidelines and norms. At the same time, the research and practice in this thesis could provide certain references for the construction of primary and secondary schools in the post-epidemic era and guide the health promotion and sustainable construction of primary and secondary schools. |
