| Due to some historical and practical reasons, some universities are lagging behind in their development, and their spatial construction and cultural attributes are not in line with their development needs, and lack their own attributes and characteristics,so it is inevitable that the university campus environments should be upgraded and transformed. This paper takes the Yanta Campus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology(XUAT)as the research object, and starts from the application of catalytic theory in the upgrading and transformation of university campus landscape.Firstly, the basic principles and core contents of the catalyst theory are explored, and how the catalyst theory is combined with the research and transformation of university campus landscape upgrading and renovation, while the current development status and deep-seated dilemmas of modern universities are considered, and the feasibility of adopting the catalyst theory to improve and reshape the campus landscape is explored.Secondly,at the macro level, through field research and data analysis,we gain an in-depth understanding of the site and summarize the relationship between the campus and the surrounding environment;at the meso level,we analyze the overall structure and campus characteristics through on-site research;at the micro level,we study the current situation of Xijian University’s Yanta campus, take Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology as a practical case, summarize the problems of the current development, and study the introduction of catalytic theory into Xijian University’s Yanta The specific application method of introducing catalytic theory into the renewal and upgrading of the Xijian Dayanta campus is studied.According to the needs of the people in the site and the renewal framework of the catalytic response, the renewal strategy is proposed,i.e.,discovering the dynamic points of the campus that can be developed-choosing the appropriate catalytic carrier-renewing and upgrading the campus environment-controlling the scope of the catalytic effect.Targeted renovation and enhancement of the public space and campus appearance are carried out to shape the campus environment and inherit the campus culture;and the process of campus renewal is guaranteed through campus activities and events to promote the sustainable renewal development of the campus, further verifying the rationality and feasibility of the research strategy of landscape enhancement and renovation of Yanta campus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology from the perspective of catalyst theory. Finally, taking the landscape upgrading and transformation of the Yantar campus of Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology as an example, the common problems of the campus landscape are analyzed and researched, and a universal research strategy and specific methods for the catalytic landscape upgrading and transformation of the university campus are organized and summarized to stimulate the activity of the university campus. This is an positive attempt to explore the university campus landscape enhancement and transformation research.Through the introduction of catalyst theory,it makes the system of university campus renewal more complete, innovates the development research ideas of university campus landscape enhancement and transformation research, enriches the domestic university campus landscape enhancement and transformation development strategies, and provides new perspectives and methods for the same type of campus landscape enhancement and transformation developments. |
