As a material carrier of higher education research and teaching,university campus has four functions: ecology,practicality,beautification and education.In terms of educational function,the university campus has a strong environmental education function of landscape education.A good university campus landscape can make college students feel the history and culture of the campus,school motto,school philosophy,academic characteristics,etc.in the interaction with the campus landscape.Meanwhile,participatory design introduces the concept of landscape design to promote the ecological and interactive relationship between man and nature.It is a new field actively explored by landscape designers at home and abroad.Under the background of "Internet Plus",major universities in China have introduced the concept of "Internet Plus Education" to plan and build a "smart campus".However,there is still a lack of relevant research on the application of Internet-related technologies to the campus landscape.This article takes the university campus landscape as the research object;introduces participatory design,"Internet Plus Education " concept,Internet thinking;through literature research,case analysis,cross-disciplinary research and practical verification and other research methods,define the participatory design,"Internet Plus Education",university campus landscape,etc;and select six domestic and international typical cases from three perspectives-macro,meso and micro – related to participatory landscape and campus planning to analyze and summarize professional related research and experience;then focuses on the basic research of university campus participatory landscape,including the development and problems of university campus landscape,the significance of university campus participatory landscape design,and the analysis of factors affecting university campus participatory landscape design;then,based on the previous concept interpretation,excellent cases and basic research on university campus participatory landscape,from three perspectives of macro,meso and micro,explore the planning and design approach for participatory landscapes on the university campus within new era.At the macro level,attention should be paid to the functional zoning and structural planning of the university campus,and the establishment of a smart campus landscape function system;at the meso level,attention should be paid to human behavior patterns to create a rich and diverse participatory landscape and achieve multiple types of participation and activity behavior modes in a flexible space,and participatory design of the landscape elements of the university campus;microscopically,attention should be paid to participatory design of the main landscape facilities on the university campus,and at the same time,with the support of Internet-related technologies,stimulating the vitality of participatory landscape spaces,to further strengthen the interaction between people,things,natural ontology and the three.Finally,based on the previous research review and the author’s research results,the author selected the Binhu Campus of Hengshui University,an Applied Technology University that valued practical education,as the practice site,and implemented the concept of "participatory design",Internet connection from different scales were implemented into campus landscape planning and design.
