In the construction of modern college campus, due to unreasonable pre-planning and inappropriate post-use, there have been a lot of "abandoned space", which rarely used by people or are hard to use. In order to facilitate the rationality of university campus planning and design in China and reduce the wasted space in the university campus, in-depth research of architecture phenomenology, and in-depth understanding of the ancient, modern and contemporary characteristics of development history of Chinese-foreign university campus, Norberg-Schulz’s "the theory of spaces" as the main basis for guiding the planning and design of modern university campus.In the process of analysis, taking the library of Central Academy of Fine Arts as case to raise the problem of university campus’ abandoned space and according to the spirit of place in university campus obtained by study, reconstruction design of library’s original spaces, with the process of this design to provide ideas for solving "abandoned space" in university campus. Solving the problems of abandoned space in university campus can enhance the utilization of campus space and optimize space functionality, to provide a more humanism life&work and learning space for teachers and students, to propose important advices for future university campus space planning in China. And you can better avoid the appearance of irrational wasted space and waste, and further to improve the overall quality of teaching at the university. |
