The Taohe River Basin in southern Gansu is located in the core area of the Gansu Qinghai Ethnic Corridor, where there are numerous ethnic groups, diverse cultures, and diverse living landscapes with diverse regional characteristics.Tibetan,Han,Hui,Salar,Dongxiang,Baoan,Tu and other ethnic groups have lived here for generations, and a large number of ethnic groups live together in rural communities. With the increasing distance between ethnic groups, the living landscape in multi-ethnic areas is also undergoing significant changes.Landscape anthropology focuses on exploring the multiple humanistic characteristics of space pattern and place environment from the perspective of human settlements landscape, which provides a new research perspective and new practice path for landscape planning design.Heyan Village is located in the northern part of Tangwang Town in the hinterland of the Ganqing Ethnic Corridor. It is a typical multi-ethnic village composed of Dongxiang,Hui,and Han ethnic groups.Firstly,we will interpret the research trends and theories related to landscape anthropology, with a focus on analyzing the theory of venue construction, inspiring thoughts on the creation of public space landscapes in multi-ethnic villages along the river, and applying it to the specific practice of public space landscape renewal design.Based on the research content of landscape anthropology, this paper analyzes the landscape pattern of public space in Heyan Village from three aspects:natural landscape, artificial landscape and cultural landscape, and analyzes its spatial form based on its place perspective, and puts forward the concepts of "absolute public space" and "relative public space",thus supplementing the place construction theory of landscape anthropology,Analyze the form, layout, and content of public spaces under different types and functions.Secondly,it summarizes the profound multicultural characteristics of the public space landscape in Heyan Village, namely the coexistence of commonality and heterogeneity, seeking common ground while reserving differences, and being inclusive.Analyzing the formation of the public space form and landscape pattern in Heyan Village contains the development laws guided by natural and humanistic factors.Subsequently, strategies for creating public space landscapes in Heyan Village are proposed from four aspects:regional architecture, spatial color, decorative details, and spatial organization, providing theoretical guidance for the renewal design practice of Heyan Village. Finally, based on the characteristics of the public space landscape in Heyan Village, this paper analyzes the current three-layer practical problems faced by Heyan Village, and attempts to explore the strategies and intentions for creating public space landscapes that are suitable for the development of the village,in order to update and transform the village. The strategy of creating a diversified and integrated landscape proposed in this article is based on the dialectical unity of consistency and diversity in the public space of ethnic mixed villages. It is a beneficial supplement to the theory of harmonious living in multiethnic areas and has positive practical significance in building a sense of community for the Chinese nation.
