At present,the research of Hui Han mixed living villages has been paid attention to by landscape architecture,architecture,ethnology and other professional fields.In the past,the research only focused on the textual research and spatial analysis of traditional villages has been gradually extended to some non-traditional villages with diverse ethnic cultures.Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is a typical multi-ethnic area,where there are many ethnic groups such as Han and Hui“ The landscape characteristics of "multiple symbiosis,harmony but difference" have outstanding representativeness in this area.After years of coexistence and integration,the Hui and Han nationalities have formed a multi-cultural Hui Han mixed village.This paper makes an in-depth study on the relationship between Hui and Han groups and village space,analyzes and compares the commonness and differences of different ethnic settlement landscapes,scientifically explains the natural climate,industrial structure,national culture and other internal factors behind the formation of village space in ethnic interaction and integration areas,and then summarizes the construction experience of Hui and Han mixed traditional villages.This research has an important impact on national unity,the enhancement of national community consciousness and the protection and rational development of traditional villages.Because of the influence of historical,natural and geographical factors,the development of ethnic minority areas is still faced with the problems of overall lagging economic development,disordered construction of villages and destruction of resources and environment.With the continuous development of China’s social economy,the traditional spatial pattern of villages is becoming increasingly blurred.The place of ethnic communication and the spatial form of villages are undergoing great changes.The research on the landscape pattern and public space characteristics of Hui Han mixed villages is related to the construction of national unity and harmonious living environment.Based on the background of multi-ethnic and multi living space in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,this paper selects Wangjiajing village,a typical Hui Han mixed village in Haiyuan County of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,as the research object.Combined with the theory of "ethnic interaction" in ethnology,this paper adopts the methods of field investigation and comparison to study the current situation of landscape pattern and public space characteristics of the village.After fully obtaining the first-hand information,the author uses the methods of literature collection induction and comprehensive analysis to deeply explore the process and internal factors of village evolution.Taking the natural ecological environment,human religion and village construction of Wangjiajing village as the starting point,this paper summarizes the spatial morphological characteristics of the village and the landscape pattern under the influence of Hui and Han mixed residence from a macro perspective,and deeply analyzes the plane form,surrounding environment and spatial evolution process of Gongbei,Fangshen temple,cultural activity square and other public spaces in the village from a micro perspective,To explore the commonness and individuality of the village landscape pattern and public space characteristics under the influence of Hui and Han mixed living.At the end of the study,the author summarizes the leading factors of the formation and development of landscape pattern and public space characteristics of Wangjiajing village from the aspects of natural environment,national culture and policy guidance.
