| With the advent of the information age,China’s construction and development of living environments have experienced a notable surge.This trend has attracted considerable global attention in addition to being a domestic priority.The creation of livable residential environments is a common aspiration among the population.Among the various components of living environments,residential areas stand out as the most concentrated aspect,given that the quality of housing exerts a direct influence on individuals’ physical and mental well-being,as well as their overall lifestyle.In parallel,the evolution of lifestyle patterns is driving a continuous transformation of elderly care practices and the emergence of integrated medical and elderly care communities.Currently,China’s aging population is exhibiting a high growth rate and a fast pace of expansion.As a result,the living environment and quality of life of elderly citizens have become a focal point of societal concern,and the corresponding elderly care service system is intricately linked to the personal interests of each citizen and their family.The aging of the population is a critical challenge that China must confront in its efforts to accelerate socialist modernization construction and optimize the construction and development of living environments.This study is based on the research background and incorporates a significant literature review of domestic and international studies on landscape design in elderly care communities,as well as traditional health concepts.Through analyzing the interrelationships between population aging,elderly care patterns,traditional health concepts,and ecological landscapes,this study aims to demonstrate the necessity of integrating traditional health concepts and landscape design in elderly care communities.With a focus on landscape design in elderly care communities under the context of traditional health concepts,this study explores the role of traditional health concepts in landscape design in elderly care communities,and using relevant case studies,discusses the current development status of landscape design in elderly care communities.From the perspective of design principles and strategic methods,this study examines the expression of landscape design that integrates health concepts and elderly care communities.Finally,based on the principle of combining theory and practice,the study takes the Chunxuan Yayuan Elderly Care Community in Nanjing as the research object and starts from its regional environment and cultural background.The study elaborates on the design content of the landscape design of elderly care communities from the perspective of traditional health concepts,with the aim of transforming the conventional living environment into a health-promoting destination.The study aims to improve the public’s understanding of the landscape design of domestic elderly care communities,strengthen and popularize the concept of health preservation,improve the living environment of the elderly,enhance their well-being,and provide a reference for the subsequent application of traditional health concepts in elderly care communities. |
