Research On The Aging-friendly Design Of The External Environment Of The Northern Coastal City Communit

The current population aging degree is deep,and the aging degree will be accompanied by the time to deepen,the current situation of population aging is widely paid attention to by all walks of life.The outer environment of urban community is one of the necessary places for the elderly to live and enjoy leisure and entertainment.The construction of compound outer environment space of urban community with universality,safety and convenience is of positive significance to help the elderly recover their physical functions and improve their happiness index in their later years.This article uses literature research methods,on-site research interviews,case analysis research methods,and project testing methods to conduct research.Based on human engineering theory,environmental behavior theory,geriatric psychology,and horticultural therapy theory,the study selects elderly people aged 60 and above from Taoyuan Community,Xinjiazhuang Community,and Wanghaiyuan Community in three northern coastal cities of Rizhao,Qingdao,and Weihai as the research objects,with reasonable,scientific,and conduct rigorous questionnaire screening and evaluate survey questions to summarize the needs and satisfaction of elderly people in the community environment of northern coastal cities.Based on the design principles of safety,convenience,and the construction of a composite space,taking the external environment of Wanghaiyuan Community in Weihai City as an example,guided by the design theme of "Yihai+",and utilizing the survey needs summary of elderly people in northern coastal city communities and the survey data of the current situation of the external environment of Wanghaiyuan Community in Weihai City,the road system,spatial planning and layout of the external environment of the community are analyzed from the physical space level,emotional space level,and cultural space level.The existing problems of aging adaptability,such as ecological greening structure,entertainment facilities and community cultural atmosphere,are put forward with design strategies and carried out with design practice.The elderly group is combined with the coastal city community aging landscape external space to increase the reachability and support of the space for the elderly,improve the greening quality of the external environment of the community,improve the aging adaptability of facilities,and enhance the sense of belonging of the elderly.
