Since the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has made historic achievements in the transportation industry.China is striving to achieve the leap from a "transportation power" to a "transportation power".As the major infrastructure and comprehensive transportation backbone of the country,railway has bravely assumed the leading role in the development of the "transportation power" strategy and played a leading role in China’s economic construction.n the new era,the development of railway industry still needs to continue to draw on the experience and wisdom of the Party in the early construction of railway.During the period of revolution and construction,the early Communist Party represented by Mao Zedong made significant contributions to the construction and development of the railway.I From his participation in the early revolutionary activities to the founding of the People’s Republic of China,Mao Zedong has always attached great importance to the cause of China’s railway.He combined with China’s specific realities to promote the leapfrog development of China’s railway cause.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis and case study,on the premise of clarifying the research background,significance,current research situation and theoretical origin of this topic,from the three levels of "revolution","construction" and "diplomacy",to deeply explore Mao Zedong’s important discussions and practical activities on China’s railway in different periods.The article not only enriches Mao Zedong Thought,expands Mao Zedong’s view on transportation and even the theoretical depth of railway,but also has important value for guiding the railway construction in the new era.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part is the first chapter of this paper,which clarifies Mao Zedong’s theoretical origin of China’s railway.Thoroughly analyze the theory of railway by Marx,Engels,Lenin,Stalin and other classical Marxist writers,Zhan Tianyou,Sun Yat-sen and other modern railway contributors,Zhou Enlai,Chen Yun and other Communists,and lay a theoretical foundation for the following research content.The second part explores Mao Zedong’s important discourse and practical content on China’s "railway revolution","railway construction",and "railway diplomacy",which is the focus of this topic.Mao Zedong proposed the viewpoints of "railway workers promoting early revolutionary processes","railway construction promoting social and economic development",and "railway transportation promoting diplomatic undertakings" at different times.He combined the discussions on railways with China’s specific reality,participated in and guided a series of railway practices,and made outstanding contributions to the process of Chinese revolution and construction.The third part is the fifth chapter of this paper,which summarizes the characteristics and values of Mao Zedong’s practice on China’s railway industry.Mao Zedong’s practice of railway cause has distinctive revolutionary,ideological and people-oriented characteristics.In terms of value,it not only shows the great historical significance of promoting the establishment of the Party,maintaining national unity,and promoting the process of socialist modernization,but also highlights the era value of inheriting the spirit of the railway red revolution,carrying out railway diplomacy,and guiding the construction of "railway power" in the new era.Based on the requirements of the times for China to vigorously develop the "transportation power and railway first",exploring Mao Zedong’s important exposition and practice on China’s railway has important guiding significance for the current railway construction and meets the needs of the times.
