With the advent of the intelligent era,the only constant low temperature function of traditional refrigerators no longer meets the current user needs,and smart refrigerators with touch screens are gradually becoming popular.However,in the actual use process,users often have a series of problems such as a wide range of interface functions,complex operation processes,and unclear information prompts for smart refrigerators,which greatly reduces their liking for smart refrigerators.Therefore,having a good human-computer interaction interface is particularly important.It can not only reduce obstacles during human-computer interaction,increase operation fun,but also improve the user experience.This article will be based on the theory of mental models,combined with the method of product interface design,to provide design guidance for the interface optimization of smart refrigerator touch screens.This article uses the theory of mental models as a tool for user research and proposes optimization solutions for the interface design of interactive large screens in smart refrigerators.Firstly,make basic research on the theory of Mental models,generalize the concepts of mental models,clarify the relationship between user mental models,designer models,and representation models in mental model theory,sort out the construction methods of user mental models,and explain their role in product interface design;Secondly,propose adjustment strategies based on user mental model reinforcement and reconstruction,summarize the product interface design process based on user mental model reinforcement and reconstruction,and carry out design practice according to the process;Then,through investigation and research methods,we delve deeper into the user mental model of smart refrigerators,construct an evaluation system for smart refrigerator interface design based on the user mental model,extract evaluation indicators for smart refrigerator interface design based on the user mental model through expert interviews,set indicator weights through the order relationship method,and conduct evaluation experiments on existing smart refrigerator interfaces based on the evaluation system,Analyze the existing problems in the current interface based on the experimental data,and clarify the design opportunities;Then,construct a designer model based on the adjustment strategy of strengthening and reconstructing the user’s mental model,and propose solutions to existing interface problems;Finally,construct an intelligent refrigerator interface representation model,optimize the existing interface design,and validate it with subjective and objective evaluations,proving the effectiveness of user mental models in product interface design.This article conducts research on the interface design of smart refrigerators based on user mental models.Based on the current problems of the smart refrigerator interface,it summarizes the adjustment strategies of the user mental model,proposes a design process based on user mental models in the product interface,optimizes the design of the smart refrigerator interface,and provides subjective and objective evaluations.This effectively helps users use smart refrigerators,improve operational efficiency,and enhance user experience,It has also expanded the application field of user mental models.
