With the development of social science and technology and economy in China,the ship’s dynamic positioning system is becoming more and more important in navigation.The safe and effective operation of the system is an important guarantee for large ship’s fixed-point operation.The operating interface of the software is the direct medium of the user’s use of the product,which affects the efficiency of the whole system and the user’s experience.Due to the lack of visual designers and interaction designers at the beginning of design,the existing software interface of ship’s dynamic positioning system can’t make good use of products when they are used.The design of the software interface of the ship dynamic positioning system will ultimately serve the users,so we must design the software interface of the ship’s dynamic positioning system from the user’s perspective.In this paper,the software interface of the ship dynamic positioning system is designed and researched from the angle of user centered.First,through literature research and comparative analysis,we analyze the related research results and products listed at home and abroad,and find the shortcomings of the software interface design in China.Secondly,through experimental research methods used in the card sorting,data obtained from the user’s mental model,and these data by using hierarchical clustering method,obtains the user tree and the distance matrix for the product information structure of cognition,to complete the construction of user mental model.Then,based on the existing software interface specification,standards and principles of research and analysis,and summarizes the interface of ship dynamic positioning system software in the information architecture,interface layout,interaction design,graphic design,color design specification of the four aspects of the principles and methods.Again,the relevant design specifications,completed the user’s mental model and ship dynamic positioning system software interface design principles and methods of practice based on the interface,complete the ship dynamic positioning system software static color graphics design,and through the method of Axure rapid prototypes,for interaction design of each interface elements,complete the design of marine power interactive prototype positioning system.Finally,we use eye tracking technology to test the usability of the interface and the original interface after optimization,and get the conclusion that the software interface of the ship dynamic positioning system has higher usability level based on the user mental model. |
