| China’s modernization cannot be separated from the modernization of vocational education, which provides human resources support for the development of economy and society and makes important contributions to the advancement of industrialization. As an important pillar of the national economy, the automobile industry has a great shortage of after-sales repair and maintenance service personnel, and vocational colleges and universities need to improve the current situation as the main output of professional skills. However, because of the theoretical and practical complexity of this course, secondary school students who have little theoretical foundation have difficulties in learning, and teachers also try to explore better teaching methods to stimulate students’ interest in learning, achieve better learning effect, and better promote the interface between teaching and employment, this study takes the teaching method as the starting point to explore the teaching method reform path of Automotive Inspection and Maintenance.Project-based teaching method is a new teaching mode with the curriculum standard as the core, the mastery of core content knowledge as the key,and the cultivation of students’ core literacy development as the goal, which is being introduced by many vocational institutions in practice. This thesis applies the project teaching method for teaching case design to improve the teaching effect according to the current teaching problems of Automotive Inspection and Maintenance in secondary schools. After researching students, teachers and enterprises to clarify the current status and problems of teaching the course of automotive inspection and maintenance,we decided to select PICO oscilloscope as a practical training tool to solve the problem of backward equipment and adopt the project teaching method to solve the teaching problems: firstly, from the teaching situation and job requirements, these requirements are refined one by one from three perspectives of theory, practice and professional attitude The project teaching case design of this course is combined with the characteristics of PICO oscilloscope;then the implementation effect of the teaching case design is tested through educational practice. The teaching effect was analyzed through questionnaires, tests and classroom observations in terms of the degree of theoretical and skill mastery and professional attitude level, etc. The representative teaching practice of "automobile engine seal inspection" was taken as an example. The teaching process and effect of teaching will be demonstrated. The analysis of the questionnaire and test results after teaching shows that the project-based teaching method has stimulated students’ interest in the course, improved theoretical skills and comprehensive quality in the process of independent learning, and enhanced students’ core competencies better than the traditional teaching method, which is more suitable for the job requirements. |
