| In the first two or three decades of reform and opening up,China’s development has focused on urban areas.Over the past few decades,urban development has changed with each passing day and made remarkable achievements.At the same time,various contradictions in the construction and development of the vast rural areas have gradually accumulated.The traditional way of production and life is difficult to adapt to the development of the new era,and nostalgia is difficult to sustain.Western Hunan,especially the vast rural hinterland within the scope of Western Hunan,has always been labeled as poor and backward,showing obvious lag in social and economic development.This area has superior natural conditions,many ethnic minorities,remarkable regional characteristics and strong traditional culture.In the new historical opportunity period,how to seize the opportunity and seek development on the premise of protecting national traditional culture in the vast rural areas of Western Hunan is an important topic of the times.Material space is the carrier of all kinds of human activities in production and life,and it is also an important embodiment of regional development characteristics.This study attempts to find the answer to the proposition of rural development from the overall law of the spatial evolution of rural settlements within the county.In the study,all rural settlements in Huayuan County,Xiangxi Prefecture,Hunan Province are selected as the research object,and a comparative analysis is carried out from the dimensions of time and space.Taking 2006,2013 and 2020 as the research time nodes,this paper deeply analyzes and summarizes the spatial evolution law,influencing factors and influencing characteristics of rural settlements in Huayuan County from 2006 to 2020,finds the problems in rural development,and puts forward optimization strategies.The full text is divided into four parts.The first part is the basic research part,which mainly makes preliminary preparations for the research.The second part is the core content of the study.Firstly,eight indicators are selected for analysis from the three dimensions of spatial scale,spatial form and spatial distribution evolution of rural settlements.The results show that with the passage of time,the overall number of rural settlements in Huayuan County is decreasing,the scale is increasing,the polarization characteristics of rural settlement scale are more obvious,the spatial form of rural settlements is more irregular,and the agglomeration characteristics of distribution are more obvious;Then,using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods,this paper analyzes many factors affecting the spatial evolution of rural settlements,and summarizes the influence characteristics and degree of each factor.The third part mainly summarizes the problems found in the research and puts forward optimization strategies.The main problems found in the study are: the development of rural areas is unbalanced and the polarization difference is obvious;Disorderly expansion of rural settlements;The traffic demand is strong,but the distribution of traffic resources is uneven,which restricts the development of some areas;The tourism industry is not yet mature and has a significant impact on the tourism system.The targeted optimization strategies are: adjust measures to local conditions and narrow the development differences with advantageous industries;Strengthen rural planning guidance and land management and control,and turn "external expansion" into "internal excellence";Connect and strengthen the transportation network and consolidate the development foundation;Take the Western Hunan Tourism express and create Huayuan tourism business card.The last part is the conclusion chapter,which first expounds the main conclusions of this research,then summarizes the innovation and shortcomings of the research,and finally looks forward to the follow-up research work. |
