| 2019 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the architecture discipline of Hunan University.While reviewing the development history of its own architecture discipline,the school of architecture and planning has also preliminarily positioned its position in the development of Architectural Education in China.However,even so,the research on the history of Architectural Education in Hunan University is still insufficient,and many time periods with key nodes are rarely involved or still blank.In 1929,Mr.Liu Dunzhen started the architecture group in the Department of civil engineering.After 31 years of development,it was finally able to officially recruit five-year architecture students for the first time in 1960.After two levels of continuous enrollment,the specialty was forced to stop running in 1966 and continue to develop education in the form of architecture teaching and research group.It was not until 1981 that the specialty enrollment was officially resumed.Therefore,the professional education of architecture from 1960 to 1966 has a connecting significance in the development history of architecture in Hunan University,which is very necessary to study.The purpose of this study is:1)to sort out and integrate the architectural education thought from 1960 to 1966,reflect the architectural school running experience and background of Hunan University at that time,make up for the research gap,record a period of the development history of Architectural Education of Hunan University,and take it as an epitome to reflect the relationship between China’s architectural education and the development of the times at that time;2)Find the commonness and individuality between Architectural Education from 1960 to 1966 and Architectural Education in domestic colleges and universities at that time,and find out the position of Hunan University in the development of Modern Architectural Education in China;3)This paper combs the causality and importance of Architectural Education as an important transformation node to inherit and continue the architectural education thought of Hunan University from 1960 to 1966,and summarizes the core links and changes between Architectural Education of Hunan University in different periods of time.Firstly,in the introduction chapter,this study reviews 1)the western architectural education system;2)The origin and establishment of Architectural Education System in Chinese colleges and universities,and outline the historical background and influencing factors of Architectural Education System in Hunan University.The research on architecture education from 1960 to 1966 includes three main chapters.The second chapter reviews the transplantation and exploration of the"East High Engineering" architectural education system before the founding of the people’s Republic of China,combs various historical and political factors affecting Architectural Education from 1960 to 1966 in various periods after the founding of the people’s Republic of China,analyzes the influence of regional environment and Academy culture from multiple angles,and summarizes that education at that time was affected by multiple factors.The third chapter reproduces the actual situation of Architectural Education from 1960 to 1966 with the help of the composition of architectural teachers and the exploration in teaching,the setting of architectural courses and the training mode of students,as well as the existing tendency of architectural teaching.At the same time,it compares the similarities and differences between the professional education of architecture at that time and the early architectural education of Hunan University and the Architectural Education of domestic colleges and universities at the same time,and summarizes the characteristics of Architectural Education of Hunan University at that time.The fourth chapter interprets the impact of Architectural Education on the students’ follow-up study,work and life from 1960 to 1966 by analyzing specific representatives,and further explores the quality of Architectural Education at that time.Finally,the fifth chapter analyzes the reference and inheritance of Architectural Education in the 1980s to Architectural Education from 1960 to 1966 and the expansion and improvement of the discipline system.At the same time,it considers the exploration of the road of Architectural Education in the future and looks forward to the frontier of the discipline.This paper hopes to summarize the architectural school running thought,educational characteristics and structure,the core connection and change differences between education in different periods,as well as the supplementary school running process,which can provide a reference for the future development of Architectural Education in Hunan University. |
