Research On Modular Interior Design For Public Spaces In Nursing Home

With the increasing number of problems caused by aging,the development of aging services has become one of the most important issues in our country.Institutional care for the elderly has begun to become a new choice for the elderly.China’s institutional elderly care is on the fast track of development.There are certain problems in the quality of services and the space environment.The mental health of the elderly is neglected for the service,and the importance of public space is neglected for the design of the space.At the same time,the cost is high.It also discourages most ordinary families.Faced with these problems,this article attempts to reduce construction costs through modular construction design techniques,and formulate public space modules that meet the needs and design concepts of the elderly,so that the elderly can live happily and safely in elderly care institutions.This article explores the method of indoor modularization in public spaces of elderly care institutions through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods,and proposes corresponding research ideas and design practices.First of all,the relationship between modular design and public space design of pension institutions is discussed by taking11 pension institutions in Nanjing as an example.On the basis of normative research,theoretical research and design case summary,this paper analyzes the elderly’s demand for public space environment in nursing institutions based on KANO-IPA integrated model,and obtains the indoor environment demand strategy and importance ranking of three different types of space: living care space,medical care space and culture and entertainment space.Secondly,through the design structure matrix,design association matrix and cluster analysis,the possibility of division and combination of these three spatial modules is carried out,so as to build the modular design system of indoor environment of public space in old-age care institutions.Finally,combined with the previous research results,the standardized CAD plane module library for public space of exclusive pension institutions was established,and the refined design scheme and combination model of 28 space modules in public space of pension institutions were proposed,and the design scheme was evaluated.
