Research On The Cultivation Of Applied Talents In Petroleum Universities Under The Background Of Carbon Neutrality

After China put forward the goal of "Achieving Carbon Neutrality before 2060",the Ministry of Education issued the "Work Plan for Strengthening the Construction of Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutral Higher Education Talent Training System",which proposed a new layout for talent training in the context of carbon neutrality.As a characteristic energy college,petroleum universities urgently need to give full play to their own advantages in the training of engineering application talents in the context of carbon neutrality,and provide intellectual guarantee and talent support for the country to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.The paper mainly uses literature analysis,comparative research and survey research methods for analysis and research.Through literature analysis,the significance of engineering application talent training in petroleum universities in the context of carbon neutrality was summarized.According to the national policy documents,the new requirements for the training of engineering application talents in petroleum universities under the background of carbon neutrality are condensed.Based on the new requirements,the theory of comprehensive human development,demand determinism and Xi Jinping Thought on Eco-Civilization are combined and applied,and the knowledge,ability and quality structure of applied talents in petroleum universities under the background of carbon neutrality are summarized.On this basis,using the comparative research method and investigation research method to compare and analyze some engineering professional talent training programs,internal documents and news reports of some representative petroleum universities in China,it is found that some achievements have been achieved in the training of engineering application-oriented talents in the context of carbon neutrality,but there are still insufficient awareness and popularization of green and low-carbon concepts,insufficient number of elective courses related to carbon neutrality,and the construction of interdisciplinary faculty to be strengthened.In the training link,the tripartite coordination of industry,education and research is not close,and the degree of participation in international exchanges of students is low.In view of the problems,focus on the implementation of the concept of ecological civilization and strengthen value guidance;Adhering to the characteristics of running the school,accurately positioning the demand for carbon neutrality;Excavate the depth of professional courses and broaden the breadth of knowledge;Multi-party collaborative participation in teaching to strengthen students’ practical ability;Strengthen the construction of teachers in the field of carbon neutrality and improve the teaching level of teachers;Suggestions such as forming a diversified evaluation system to improve the quality of talent training,and expounding the guarantee conditions implemented by petroleum universities in the process of talent training,in order to ensure the quality of engineering applicationoriented talent training in petroleum universities under the background of carbon neutrality.Through the research,it is expected to provide reference for the reform and practice of engineering application talent training in petroleum universities under the background of carbon neutrality.
