Research On Renewal Strategy Of Old Community Public Space In Yuci District Of Jinzhong City

In the context of the transformation of urban planning from high-speed incremental development to high-quality development of stock,the number of old urban communities is increasing,and along with residents’ demands for horizontal and vertical increase in public space,community space is monotonous and facilities are insufficient.The problem is becoming more and more prominent.At the same time,due to the lag in the release and implementation of policies in small and medium-sized cities,the problem that the public space environment of small and medium-sized cities cannot meet the needs of residents is more serious.Domestic scholars have done a lot of research on the public space of old communities in big cities,suitable for aging,etc.but they have not paid much attention to the research on small and medium-sized cities.Therefore,this paper takes the public space of the old community in Yuci District,the main urban area of Jinzhong City,as the research object.By understanding the current situation of the old community in Yuci District and the needs of residents,it focuses on analyzing the relationship between the factors of residents’ spiritual needs and the planning elements of public space.The relationship between residents and the public space elements needs to be studied and explored effectively,so as to provide a basis for the renewal and reconstruction to better meet the needs of residents.This article will be divided into five parts to elaborate on this content:The first part analyzes the current situation of public space in old communities in Yuci District.On the basis of sorting out relevant literature and understanding relevant theories,the research object and research significance are determined.Understand the status quo of urban development through inquiries and field research,and use heat maps to assist in analyzing the urban structure and residents’ living conditions.Select typical communities to conduct in-depth research on the current situation of public space,and summarize their current problems.The second part studies the residents’ characteristics,residents’ needs and the correlation between residents’ spiritual needs and spatial planning elements in Yuci District.On the basis of the above basic concepts and basic theories,a more scientific and reasonable public space renewal research system is explorably constructed,and the interaction between residents’ characteristics,community public space environment,and residents’ spiritual needs is discussed.Through on-site investigation and questionnaire survey,the characteristics of residents,the factors of residents’ spiritual needs and the index elements of public space planning are quantified.The psychological needs of residents with different characteristics are analyzed by mathematical statistics,and the elements of community space planning that affect residents’ feelings of spiritual needs are obtained by combining qualitative and quantitative research methods.In the third part,the update strategy is proposed.Based on the needs of residents of old communities in Yuci District and the current situation of public space,this paper proposes a renewal strategy for public space in old communities in small and medium-sized cities from five perspectives: spatial structure,spatial hierarchy,infrastructure,environmental quality and service management.Based on the research on the public space of old communities in Yuci District,this paper analyzes the living characteristics,spiritual needs of residents in old communities in small and medium-sized cities,and the elements of public space that affect residents’ spiritual needs,and proposes corresponding renewal strategies to improve residents’ quality of life.It is expected to have a certain degree of reference value for the renewal of public space in old communities in the same small and medium-sized cities.
