| At present,the contradiction between the supply and demand of public transportation faced by urban development at this stage stems from,on the one hand,the expansion of urban built-up areas and the increase in the intensity of land development brought about by rapid urbanization,which leads to accelerated changes in the pattern of residents’ activities in the region,and the existing public transportation system is difficult to respond in time.On the other hand,due to the lack of network coordination of the multi-mode public transportation system at this stage,a certain amount of waste of transportation capacity has occurred,resulting in the overall transportation efficiency of the public transportation system being lower than expected,and it cannot fully meet the travel needs of residents in some areas.At the same time,improving the transportation efficiency of public transportation can further strengthen the role of public transportation in promoting urban industrial development and related land development and construction.Therefore,after clarifying the importance of the interaction between urban public transportation and urban land for urban development,combining relevant domestic and foreign theoretical research,the concept of "traffic carrying capacity" is expanded to a certain extent,so that it can reflect the coordination relationship between the supply of transportation capacity provided by public transportation and the demand for transportation capacity generated by urban land from quantity and spatial coordination.Then,based on this concept,a method for evaluating the coordination degree of urban public transportation and land use is formed,and the coupling coordination degree between the supply and demand of the public transportation capacity of each area reflects the traffic carrying capacity level of there.Afterwards,taking Tianjin downtown area as an example,the area’s traffic carrying capacity was calculated and the correlation was verified with the corresponding urban traffic situations,proving that the traffic carrying capacity evaluation results can truly reflect the supply and demand issues between public transportation and urban area to some extent.And by improving the coordination degree between different modes of public transportation network,optimizing the urban public transportation supply in each district,so as to achieve the purpose of increasing the traffic carrying capacity and the coordinated development between urban land-use and the public transport.Finally,on the basis of summarizing the research results,it concludes some relevant optimization strategies for urban public transportation development planning,which can relieve the contradiction between urban transportation supply and demand from the perspectives of urban planning and public transportation index control. |
