Research On The Renewal Design Of The Historical And Cultural Block Of Baisheng Street,Baise City,Guangxi

Historical and cultural districts are the tangible cultural heritage preserved by the city in the process of its development and evolution,and are urban spaces composed of complex buildings and their streets and lanes in different historical stages.However,today’s urban construction often pursues too many economic development benefits,and the current renewal and renovation of historical and cultural districts mostly operates in the form of large-scale demolition and relocation,and the reset of spatial functions is carried out,which to a certain extent destroys the material foundation and social structure of the block,and affects the original uniqueness,humanism and authenticity of the block.Baise City is a famous historical and cultural city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,since 2010,has launched a series of protection renewal and transformation measures,in recent years the protection and renewal results are eye-catching,although in recent years Baise City local government in Baisheng Street has carried out some environmental upgrading and transformation,has had certain results,but in the preservation of the original street texture and historical architectural style,has not achieved good results.Based on this,this paper takes the Baisheng Street Historical and Cultural District of Baise City as the research object,and designs and studies its renewal and protection.Firstly,the theories and documents of the transformation of urban historical and cultural districts at home and abroad are systematically sorted out and summarized.Secondly,combined with the existing historical and cultural district renewal and design practices in China,the three transformation methods of demolition and reconstruction,repair protection and gradual transformation are compared and studied,and the advantages and disadvantages of each and the detailed transformation methods of the cases are summarized,so as to provide reference for the subsequent transformation research.Combined with the actual investigation,the development status and problems of Baisheng Street Historical and Cultural District were discussed in depth,and the study of the block was proposed from three aspects: historical and cultural protection,block style,key building area and waterfront space.Finally,through the established technical path above,the renewal design content of Baisheng Street Historical and Cultural District is further discussed,and then the buildings,streets and waterfront spaces of Baisheng Street are systematically updated,so as to maintain the uniqueness,humanism and authenticity of the renovated block,so as to provide guidance for the renewal and transformation of Baisheng Street Historical and Cultural District in Baise City and guide the development direction.At the same time,the current research on the rectification of historical and cultural blocks in other parts of China has certain reference and reference value,which can promote the scientific implementation of the renewal and transformation of historical and cultural blocks to a certain extent.
