Research On The Renewal Design Of Xiyang City And Beiguangji Street In Xi’an Beiyuanmen Historic And Cultural District

With the large-scale expansion of urban construction,historical and cultural blocks need to further undertake the tasks of coordinating the surrounding overall environment,showing historical and cultural charm,enhancing the dynamic vitality of blocks,and meeting people’s cultural needs.However,the current stage of urban development has made some historical and cultural blocks appear public space Insufficient and old,the street style is damaged and cannot better meet people’s needs and so on.So how to renew the historical and cultural district and make it sustainable becomes important.This paper takes Xiyang City and Beiguangji Street in Xi’an Beiyuanmen historical and cultural blocks as the research objects,compares and analyzes the relevant theories and cases of street renewal design in historical and cultural blocks at home and abroad,clarifies the concepts of historical and cultural blocks and street renewal,and adopts field To understand the current situation of the site by means of research,interviews and questionnaires,it was found that the site has problems such as single street function,mixed traffic of people and vehicles,imperfect public facilities,and damaged street style.The street renewal design of the courtyard gate historical and cultural block should follow the design principles of functional complex,safe and accessible,people-oriented,protection and renewal,clarify the design method of street renewal,and update the design of Xiyang City,Beiguang,Xi’an Beiyuanmen historical and cultural block.Ji Street will further enhance the cultural atmosphere of Xi’an Beiyuanmen Historical and Cultural District,show the historical and cultural heritage of Xi’an Beiyuanmen Historical and Cultural District,increase the city’s tourism value,and meet people’s diverse needs.
