| Traditional villages are an important heritage of China’s agricultural civilization and have important historical and cultural values.In recent years,due to the disorderly development of space and the destruction of the historical features of villages caused by demolition and construction activities,the importance of traditional village protection has become increasingly prominent.The spatial development of traditional villages has an important impact on the protection and continuation of villages.Under the background of rural revitalization,in order to achieve the goal of orderly development and good protection of traditional villages,this paper studies the spatial characteristics of traditional villages in Suzhou and puts forward corresponding protection strategies.Firstly,this paper combs the spatial elements of Suzhou traditional villages,divides the spatial elements of Suzhou traditional villages into three levels: macro,meso and micro based on the characteristics of functional attributes,and summarizes their basic characteristics.In order to analyze the characteristics of spatial elements at all levels of traditional villages in detail,this paper draws lessons from the application of big data in urban space,integrates the spatial data under the traditional spatial data and the new data environment,and provides data support for the spatial research of traditional villages.Under the guidance of functionalism,the analysis indexes that can reflect the characteristics of spatial elements are selected from the four perspectives of spatial form,spatial structure,spatial function and spatial quality.At the same time,in order to improve the scientificity of the research,based on the analysis of the connotation of the analysis indicators,with the help of spatial syntax and GIS spatial analysis methods,the quantitative variables are calculated to reflect the situation of some indicators.On this basis,this paper constructs the research framework of the spatial characteristics of traditional villages based on multi-source data,and selects Luxiang village for empirical analysis.The results show that the current spatial development of Luxiang village has the dual characteristics of traditional agricultural society and modern life.Luxiang village continues the spatial characteristics of traditional agricultural life,and with the construction and development of the village,it has enhanced its contact with the outside world,It shows the characteristics that meet the needs of modern life and industrial development.After the empirical analysis of the spatial characteristics of Luxiang village,according to the spatial characteristics of all levels,reveal the hidden characteristics of history,culture and living habits,summarize relevant problems,and put forward protection strategies for the spatial elements of all levels.This paper provides research ideas for quantitative research on the spatial characteristics of traditional villages by using new methods and new data,and based on the objectives of village protection planning,and based on the principles of authenticity protection,sustainable development and overall protection,this paper provides suggestions for its protection,renewal and transformation,so as to improve the spatial development quality of traditional villages in Suzhou and promote the continuation of civilization. |
