The global process of globalization,urbanization and modernization,like the flow of water rushing in,we adapt to globalization in the endless learning,keep up with urbanization in the continuous construction,catch up with modernization in the technological renewal,and rush to narrow the gap between our country and the world.At this point,the gap has narrowed,and we can and need to stop to look at our own traditional culture,to understand the traditional culture that can progress with us,and to retain the indispensable part of the tradition for us.Traditional villages are an integral part of our traditional culture,the origin of traditional farming civilization and the original form of our living environment.At the same time,with the national protection and attention to traditional villages in recent years,the number of villages in the list of traditional villages has been increasing,and efforts are needed to study the depth and refinement of traditional villages in order to ensure the smooth progress of the follow.up protection and development of traditional villages.Taking the traditional village of Xili Wei family in Guiyang County of Hunan Province as the research object,this paper regards the traditional village as a complete organic life body by using the whole analysis method,and adopts the attitude and method of equal emphasis on literature research and field investigation,Based on the relationship of "nature,man and traditional village ",this paper studies the relationship between the natural and humanistic factors of the formation,construction,use and development of traditional villages,analyzes the spatial form of villages and the construction and practical characteristics of traditional buildings through field investigation and information collection.construction of human settlements environment.
