Research On The Reuse Of Old Industrial Buildings In Kunming From The Perspective Of Organic Renewal

The old industrial buildings have witnessed the development of urban economy,civilization and society.However,under the background of urban industrial structure adjustment and modern urban renewal and construction,many old industrial buildings in the central urban area of Kunming have been demolished.With the rise of transformation and utilization of old industrial buildings in China,some idle old industrial buildings in Kunming have also been reused for practice,but the degree of transformation and utilization is uneven.The reuse of old industrial buildings is regarded as an important part of the renewal of old cities.In the case of focusing on the continuation of industrial culture,how to endow old cities with new urban functions,improve their spatial environment and restore the vitality of their regions has become an important problem to be solved at present.This thesis firstly introduces the theory of organic renewal,summarizes the core of organic renewal of old industrial buildings: integrity,relevance and continuity,and explains the methods of organic renewal of old industrial buildings from three aspects: whole(factory),single(building)and culture.Secondly,the development history and the status quo of the old industrial buildings in Kunming are sorted out,and the advantages of their reconstruction and utilization are summarized.The general status quo and typical cases of the reuse of the old industrial buildings in Kunming are analyzed in combination with the theory,and the current reuse experience and problems are summarized.Following the important core of organic renewal,this thesis puts forward strategies and specific methods for the reuse of old industrial buildings in Kunming from three aspects: integral,individual and cultural.At the overall level,the integrality between the factory and the city and the factory itself should be strengthened,and the correlation between the function and the city,spatial form and the past should be enhanced.Monomer level should pay attention to the continuation of historical elements and the combination of old and new;Industrial culture should pay attention to the continuation and renewal of material and non-material industrial culture.
