| With the advance of economic globalization,modern enterprises increasingly rely on supply chain to enhance their competitiveness.Therefore,enterprises need to conduct more scientific and reasonable supplier management when seeking cost control and obtaining competitive advantage.Effective supplier management strategy will help enterprises to enhance communication with suppliers and establish closer cooperation with them.At the same time,it can also shorten product delivery time,reduce overall costs,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises to obtain higher operating performance.In this context,this paper selects A Company as the research object to sort out the status quo of its supplier management.125 suppliers of A Company and 30 relevant business personnel of A Company were selected to issue questionnaires to understand their views on supplier management of A Company.Based on the results of the questionnaire,the following problems were found in the supplier management of A Company: the obvious differences among different suppliers led to management confusion,the company’s arrears to suppliers affected suppliers’ enthusiasm for supply,more customer complaints were caused by the quality of suppliers’ parts,and the number of people involved in technical exchanges did not conform to suppliers’ expectations.Then analyze the causes of the problems: unreasonable supplier classification and hierarchical management,lack of incentive schemes for suppliers’ enthusiasm for supply,improper supplier selection and evaluation system,insufficient support and trust for suppliers.Aiming at the above problems and their causes,this paper puts forward improvement plans from four aspects: optimizing supplier classification and hierarchical management,optimizing supplier incentive improvement plans,building a new supplier selection and evaluation system,and increasing support and trust for suppliers.And sort out the implementation plan and expected results of the improvement plan. |
