| The past 20 years have witnessed the rapid development of China’s real estate industry.As an important link in the real estate industry chain,wall building materials had also enjoyed the dividends of the era.However,the production of building materials is also a low threshold industry.With the continuous production of aerated concrete manufacturers in and around Chengdu,and the impact of real estate regulation and the COVID-19,the construction area of new buildings has declined rapidly,making the market competitive environment worse.In the face of a more rigorous production environment,HK company is also exploring new ways to break away from the "growth trap" and regain its competitive advantage.The research on the supply chain management and procurement management of manufacturing enterprises has received widespread attention from the business community and academia.Therefore,firstly this paper sorts out the status quo and optimization strategies of procurement management of manufacturing enterprises from domestic and foreign research literature on procurement management of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises through literature analysis.Then,through field research,it analyzed the current situation of HK Company’s procurement management,and based on the questionnaire survey of the company’s management,that is,the coexistence of "high inventory" and "frequent material shortage",as well as the problems of poor supplier performance and high procurement cost.Therefore,after the research and analyzes the current situation of HK Company,the paper determines two major directions of procurement management optimization in HK Company: procurement demand management optimization and supplier management optimization.By adding an independent planning function,optimize the organizational structure and procurement process to solve the problem of "high inventory" and "frequent material shortage" of HK Company;By repositioning the supplier relationship,with the "five step approach" of supplier management which is adopted to reorganize the supplier relationship to reduce procurement costs and improve supplier performance. |
