Research On The Impact Of China’s Electric Power Infrastructure Investment On Urbanization

In recent years,with the investment of energy infrastructure,the continuous optimization of energy structure and the improvement of energy policy,China’s energy industry has achieved new development.The investment of energy infrastructure has achieved leapfrog development.In the past,scholars started from different types of infrastructure such as transportation,communication,and energy,and there were endless literatures on the economic effects of infrastructure from different perspectives.The importance of promoting high-quality economic development and other aspects.Urbanization has played an important role in the investment of China’s economic system and the evolution of its spatial network layout,and urbanization and economic development are undoubtedly accompanied.The investment of energy infrastructure is a necessary support in the process of modern production and life in China.As the most important energy infrastructure,power infrastructure is ubiquitous and closely related to economic development,urban investment and industrial development,and the sustainable development of agriculture and rural areas.closely related.This paper introduces the power effective cost index to try to explain the impact of China’s power infrastructure on the development of China’s urbanization,and conducts a sub-regional test for regional differences.Development provides certain policy reference and reference.This paper will explore the relationship between power infrastructure and China’s urbanization from two aspects:theoretical mechanism and empirical research of power infrastructure on urbanization through theoretical mechanism exploration and model investment empirical testing.Among them,in terms of theory,this study rigorously explores the mechanism of the impact of power infrastructure on urbanization from a macro perspective;in terms of evidence,this paper sets up the following regression test models for basic provincial panel data Specifically,the main contents of this research are as follows:(1)Analysis of the current situation and existing problems of power infrastructure and urbanization.(2)Mechanism analysis of the influence of power infrastructure on urbanization.(3)The impact of power infrastructure on urbanization.This part mainly includes:First,whether the power infrastructure has an impact on urbanization,and if so,what is the impact path?Second,from the perspective of regional differences,is there regional heterogeneity in the impact of power infrastructure on urbanization?If so,how does the development of power infrastructure in different regions have different impacts on urbanization?The research content of this paper has three points:First,to sort out the current situation and characteristics of power infrastructure and urbanization in my country;the second is to study the impact of power infrastructure on China’s urbanization;the third is to study the impact of different regions from the perspective of regional heterogeneity effects are different.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Electric power infrastructure investment and urbanization development have different characteristics.From the perspective of the development of power infrastructure,the coverage of power infrastructure shows an upward trend.Although the coverage of power infrastructure in the central and western regions is low,the increase is large.From the perspective of urbanization development,China’s urbanization process is also continuing to advance,but in recent years,the urbanization process has slowed down,which indicates that urbanization is in a stable period,which is a major milestone in China’s urbanization entering a new stage.(2)The current stage of power infrastructure investment has indeed promoted the development of China’s urbanization.First,it can be seen from the theory that power infrastructure can promote the development of urbanization through various paths.Second,from the empirical results,it can be seen that the power infrastructure has significantly promoted the development of urbanization both at the national level and in the eastern,central and western regions.
