Research On Rehabilitation Landscape Design Of Outdoor Space In The First Hospital Of Lanzhou University

With the rapid development of China’s economy and society,the construction of the medical industry will become an important development point that the country attaches great importance to.Establishing and improving a medical and health service system to ensure people’s health is an inevitable requirement for achieving national health.At the same time,as a developing country with a population of over 1.4 billion,China’s healthcare services are closely related to the health of billions of people and are a major livelihood issue.As the most widely used social security institution,hospitals’ medical level and treatment environment have become the focus of attention.The hospital environment,as the research object of landscape design,is crucial for solving the doctor-patient relationship in comprehensive hospitals.A high-quality comprehensive hospital environment can not only provide comfortable and fast services,but also improve medical quality and efficiency.By constructing a restorative landscape,users can receive adjuvant therapy,alleviate pain,improve treatment effectiveness,and recover their health as soon as possible.Therefore,building an optimized and improved rehabilitation landscape is of crucial significance for promoting the healthy development of the medical industry.By reviewing relevant materials,the development process and research status of rehabilitation landscapes were summarized,and the concepts of comprehensive hospitals and rehabilitation landscapes were elaborated.The classification,characteristics,and functions of rehabilitation landscapes were summarized.Based on relevant theoretical foundations such as environmental psychology,ergonomics,and botany,list,analyze,and summarize excellent cases of restorative landscapes.Selecting the outdoor space of Lanzhou University First Hospital for rehabilitation landscape design,conducting a survey and analysis of the hospital’s geographical location,surrounding environment,landscape status,and user groups,it was found that the venue has problems such as limited activity space,chaotic transportation system,dilapidated infrastructure,and monotonous plant species.Targeted ecological and rehabilitation medical types were proposed The positioning of leisure experiential rehabilitation landscape design and the rehabilitation landscape design strategy based on plant landscape,guided by medical functions,carried by rich space,and mediated by five senses.The overall design layout of "one hospital,multiple points,and five zones" has been proposed for the landscape design of Lanzhou University First Hospital.The overall environment of the hospital area is divided into five functional areas,namely: entrance square area,sports rehabilitation area,central landscape area,horticultural experience area,and static physical therapy area.Landscape nodes are distributed in various regions,forming a comprehensive rehabilitation landscape with complete overall functions and clear location functions.In the design,we closely adhere to the theme of rehabilitation,incorporating rehabilitation auxiliary treatment methods such as horticultural therapy,plant-based therapy,and five sensory therapy into landscape design,effectively increasing the activity space of sensory gardens,meditation gardens,and rehabilitation squares,providing better services for users to recover as soon as possible,and enhancing the actual use value of the landscape.Conduct rehabilitation design on the hospital’s infrastructure,including signage systems,seats,rehabilitation facilities,etc.,in order to improve the hospital’s environment and service quality.The experience and methods summarized through theoretical research and design practice are expected to provide valuable references for the rehabilitation landscape design of hospitals and similar health care institutions.
