Outdoor Space Rehabilitation Landscape Research In Large General Hospitals

The improvement of people’s living standards and the enhancement of health awareness have made more and more people realize the positive effect of good environment on health,and the concept of rehabilitation landscape design that promotes health is the focus of patients.However,China’s research on rehabilitation landscape started late.Most medical institutions are in a state of focusing on improving medical efficiency,ignoring the construction of outdoor space in hospitals,leading to the lack of efficacy of outdoor hospital outdoor landscape rehabilitation.Therefore,it is a big challenge for us to construct the outdoor space rehabilitation landscape of our comprehensive hospital.Based on the significance of the research topic,this paper deeply understands the concept and characteristics of the rehabilitation landscape,and summarizes the research status of the rehabilitation landscape at home and abroad,in order to obtain information on the generation and development trend of the rehabilitation landscape from the research progress.First,research is carried out from the theory of rehabilitation landscape in the outdoor space of general hospitals.The concept of comprehensive hospital and the concept and characteristics of outdoor space in general hospital are expounded,and the concept of rehabilitation landscape and the related theoretical environmental psychology,evidence-based design and Chinese medicine field of rehabilitation landscape design are studied.Secondly,the use of the outdoor space of the general hospital: the characteristics of the patients,the family members of the patients and the staff of the hospital,as well as the behavioral needs and preferences,are investigated and analyzed to understand the situation and needs of the users.The research on the components of the rehabilitation landscape,including sensory elements,hard landscapes,soft landscape elements,etc.,on this basis,clear the design points of the comprehensive hospital rehabilitation landscape.Thirdly,through the previous theoretical research support,the three representative hospitals in Nanchang were investigated and analyzed on the spot.The survey includes:(1)investigation of the outdoor space layout,road pavement,public facilities and plant status of the hospital;(2)Investigate and count the plant species in the surrounding green areas of the hospital’s functional buildings,and analyze the quantitative characteristics of the plant communities in the arbor and shrub layers,and finally analyze the ornamental characteristics of the plants;(3)Satisfaction survey and expert judgement were conducted on outdoor activity space,guiding system,plant configuration,landscape sketch and road pavement outdoor space,and the reasons for dissatisfaction were investigated.The above survey results and analysis can clearly understand the current outdoor space landscape status of the Nanchang Comprehensive Hospital.Finally,combined with the results of on-the-spot investigation,satisfaction survey and expert evaluation,the paper summarizes the shortcomings of the three comprehensive hospitals in Nanchang,and proposes to construct a comprehensive hospital in Nanchang based on the components and design points of the rehabilitation landscape.Optimization strategy for space rehabilitation landscape.
