In recent years,Chinese automotive industry is transforming from incremental Age to stock Age.What’s more,with the deeper intensive global automotive electric revolution,the forecast sales volume of each automotive company shows uncertainty as well.Under such a multiple background with the market demand changing and the fiercely competitive market,Company W,as one of the most premium luxury vehicle manufacturers in the world,is also facing the challenges from production system flexibility improving and manufacture cost reduction.Currently,Powertrain plant of company W is under production system updating period in order to be prepared for higher volume demand for the next 3 years.Inbound logistics system,as one of the most important parts of the whole production system,is being updated as well,especially the enlargement of warehouse storage capacity.Meanwhile,in order to enhance the operation efficiency at the same time with the capacity enlargement,the operation process is reasonably optimized and evaluated,which is also a major study purpose of this thesis.Firstly,on the basis of the warehouse status observation and analysis,.two major problems are found,which are the warehouse storage capacity shortage issue and the unreasonable warehouse operation processes.Secondly,aiming to solving the storage capacity shortage issue,specific concept designing and the evaluation is made.For short-term,the low-cost,quick returns internal optimization solution is adopted.For instance,the layout adjustment is implemented for the short-term storage capacity shortage.Afterwards,aiming at the long-term capacity shortage problem,three alternative concepts are put forward and the hierarchy analysis method is used for the solution’s comprehensive evaluation to elect the best one.At last,referring to the relevant warehouse management optimization method and process optimization theories,the operation process analysis method is adopted for the current operation process diagnosing and analyzing.The action is taken like the automatic equipment,working station combination and some other measures for the designing of the optimization concept.Then,the evaluation for the optimized concept is made.In addition,the concept implementation safeguard is also designed to reach the eventually efficiency enhancement,which will also lead to a cost-down target.Through this study,on the one hand,a set of feasible solution can be offered to company W for the warehouse capacity enlargement.One the other hand,the operation process efficiency enhancing optimized concept is designed. |
