It is well-known that oil drilling is a high-input and high-risk project.The drilling equipment provided for oil drilling project is also characterized by high technology,high cost as well as high quality standard.The quality problems of drilling equipment will not only affect the drilling time and cost of the project,but also might cause serious drilling accidents.With the strategy of Going Global for Chinese oil companies,Chinese oil drilling equipment manufacturing companies have followed the paces and stepped into overseas markets as well.According to the requirements in the bidding for overseas drilling projects,Quality Management,especially Quality Planning has become the crucial requirement for the bidding suppliers.At the same time,as the increasingly fierce competition both in the Chinese domestic and international markets,the customers have become more and more difficult to be satisfied,which more and more requirements needs to be implemented,for example,the customized design,tight delivery time and low cost budget.As a leading manufacturer of diamond bit manufacturer,Company A is one of these drilling equipment manufactuers.In order to maintain the sustainble development,an effecitive Project Qualtiy Planning ought to be urgently implemented.This paper focused on the study of theory of Project Quality Management,Project Quality Planning and method of APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning).Based on the characterisitcs of structuralization and systematization,advantages of making project quality planning more and more concrete and instructive,the meathod of APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning)was inducted in a case which indicated the problems for the project quality planning of company A after the survey and analysis of the exsiting situations.A practical general template of project quality planning was formatted under the typical model framework of APQP with the above mentioned case and other case as examples.The case formatted in this paper with high practicability was proved a good performance after conducting at the early stages,which increased the orders,shortened the deliver time by 50%,promoted the working effiency by 50%,as well as customer satisfaction rate by 20%.The major significances of this paper shall be as follows:It will avoid loss caused by product quality problems for customers and company A,therefore,prevent the loss of existing customers,also provide customers with stable or much better quality products to customers,which shall gain much more orders from customers with their maximum satisfactions;It shall provide the template for bidding documents which will increase the winning possibility of future bidding,thus expand the market share by obtaining more new customers;also it will provide action plan for project organizations within Company A,thereby improving work efficiency,shortening project cycle;last but lest,it provides the reference for improvement of project quality management for the companies similar with Company A. |
