| The organizational form of temporary teams is widely used in engineering construction,emergency management,product development,etc.Its flexible and dynamic characteristics can enable organizations to quickly integrate resources and bring into play competitive advantages.Engineering project team is a typical temporary team.During project implementation,although active knowledge sharing among team members can enable the project team to reduce errors and improve project performance,knowledge hiding among project members is widely present.However,existing knowledge hiding studies mostly focus on exploring knowledge hiding behaviors within permanent teams,while few studies have been conducted for knowledge hiding behaviors within temporary teams like engineering project tea ms.Based on conservation of resource theory,affective events theory and social exchange theory,this study explores the mechanism of time pressure on the knowledge hiding behaviour of engineering project team members,and introduces work engagement and task interdependence as mediating and moderating variables in the relationship between time pressure and knowledge hiding,and constructs the theoretical model of this paper;and appropriately modifies the mature foreign scale and conducts questionnaire distribution in the Chinese engineering context;finally,based on the 308 valid questionnaires obtained,an empirical The analysis was carried out,and SPSS25.0 and AMOS24.0 were used to test the reliability and validity of each variable,and the processing of common method bias test,descriptive statistics and correlation analysis,and regression analysis were completed.The following conclusions were mainly obtained:(1)there is a negative relationship between time pressure and knowledge hiding behavior of engineering project team members;(2)work engagement partially mediates the relationship between time pressure and knowledge hiding behavior of engineering project team members;(3)task interdependence positively moderates the relationship between time pressure and knowledge hiding behavior of engineering project team members.This paper reveals the influence mechanism of time pressure on the knowledge hiding behaviour of engineering project team members,explores the mediating role of work engagement and the moderating role of task interdependence,enriches the research on the effect of time pressure,expands the research on the antecedent mechanism of knowledge hiding behaviour,and provides guidance and countermeasure suggestions for the practice of knowledge management in engineering projects. |
