The polar crane is located at the top of the reactor building of the nuclear island,which is one of the most importment equipment of the nuclear power plant and plays a significant role during the building of a nuclear power plant.However,it is common to delay the installation of nuclear power plant polar crane.How to ensure the timely installation of nuclear power plant polar crane is of great significance to reduce the construction and installation cost of nuclear power plant and improve the economic competitiveness of nuclear power plant.The research object selected in this paper is the nuclear power plant polar crane installation project implemented by C Company.First of all,through summarizing the related data of many nuclear power plant polar crane installation projects conducted by C Company in the past,it is found that the project has the problem of delay in construction.Then,the Delphi expert interview method is used to find out the common problems leading to project delay,such as simple and extensive schedule preparation,delay in site staff’s work,easy occurrence of resource conflict,etc.Finally,the critical chain method is used to optimize and improve the schedule management of the polar crane installation project of F nuclear power plant currently being implemented by C Company,and the results of applying this optimum proposal have been analyzed.The research result has figured out that the critical chain method can shorten the project period by thirteen days for installation of polar crane inside the F nuclear power plant,which is a good solution to project delay.Not only the construction efficiency has been improved and the competitiveness of this company has been enhanced in the field of nuclear power construction,but also a reference for installation of similar polar cranes in various nuclear power plants has been provided. |
