As a traditional agricultural country,the development of rural tourism has gradually become an important way to promote rural construction.To a certain extent,the development of rural tourism has changed villagers’ interaction and lifestyle,catering to urbanites’ psychological need to return to the countryside,but it has also quietly changed the deep-rooted rural social relations.Among them,design,as a relatively new means of rural construction,is distinctive in rural construction activities with its advantages in the areas of creation activities,resource integration,and cultural inheritance.From different design disciplines to multiple design approaches,this also shows the designers’ sense of responsibility and commitment.However,due to the complexity and difference of the countryside itself,there are often certain deviations between the designers’ artifact-making activities and the villagers’ perceptions.Therefore,in the process of design intervention in the countryside,there are frequent and diverse interactions between villagers,designers,developers,the government and other different interests,and there are often conflicts and contradictions.This paper selects the Jiunvfeng tourism area in Shandong Province as a case study,takes interviews and field surveys of Jiunvfeng area in the process of tourism development as basic materials,takes the rural changes before and after the development as the main line,and takes the interaction events between villagers and different interest subjects in the development process as clues to analyze the design embedding in rural construction and the problems in the interaction process,and explores the various groups in the rural space and cultural reconstruction The role played by each group in the reconstruction of rural space and culture.Based on the study of the design problems in the rural tourism development of Jiunvfeng,this paper proposes effective countermeasures in three aspects in order to realize the sustainable development of design intervention in the countryside: respecting the subjectivity status of villagers,advocating interdisciplinary practice participation,and using modern technology to create richer cultural experiences.
