Research On The Spatial Evolution Of Henan Folk Ancestral Hall In Social Memory

Ancestral hall is not only an important place for people to worship their ancestors,but also a place for families to compile genealogies and deal with public affairs,reflecting the human history,architectural skills,customs and folk customs of an era.As the root of local culture,ancestral temple architecture reflects the rise and fall of the family,and it is also an indispensable component of rural public space.Henan is located in the Yellow River Basin,which is one of the origins of Chinese civilization and breeds excellent traditional culture.The number of ancestral temples here is amazing,the types of buildings are rich,and the styles are various.They are important expressions of excellent traditional culture and also important carriers of the spirit of the Chinese nation.With the historical changes,the space,style and structure of the ancestral temple buildings in Henan Province are constantly changing,which reflects that people have different needs for the ancestral temple buildings in different periods,and the cultural connotation it carries is also constantly advancing with the times,which is highly researchable.Therefore,this topic takes the Chinese folk ancestral temple as the research object,takes Henan region as the geographical background,from the perspective of the architectural space of the folk ancestral temple,through the field investigation of 1542 ancestral temples in 18 cities of Henan Province,the collection and sorting of the relevant literature,first of all,based on the understanding of the architecture itself and the architectural spatial pattern of the folk ancestral temple in Henan Province,it gives a brief overview.Secondly,it focuses on the three stages of the historical development of folk ancestral temples in Henan Province: the traditional period,the transformation period and the exploration period.It respectively summarizes the historical evolution,objectively describes the scope,the development background and the spatial characteristics of the ancestral temples in each period,thus leading to the general appearance of the changes of the ancestral temples,and summarizes the influencing factors,laws and the future under the evolution of the architectural space Development trend.This paper focuses on the use of sociological theory to explore the changes of classical ancestral temples and the memory evolution,discusses the impact of social changes on ancestral temple architecture and social memory,as well as the cultural connotation and the value of the times.At last,the paper puts forward protection,inheritance and development,hoping to provide some help for the follow-up study of folk ancestral temples in Henan.
