The Inheritance And Research Of The Civilizing Function Of Education In The Architecture Culture Of The Folk Ancestral Hall In Henan

Ancestral temple is an important place for ancestors and sacrifices,and it is a unique product in the system of Chinese feudal society,which is to maintain the consanguinity,to keep the people in the portrait of the ancestor,and to provide the social rank of the elders and the noble.Henan is located in the hinterland of China,pregnant with a long history of the Central Plains culture,is the root of the Chinese nation,the source of culture,the ancestral hall architecture is rich in style.Ancestral Hall as a cultural relic building,carrying a lot of human history,architectural skills,folk customs and other aspects of information,is unique in China’s ancient construction groups,and it has evolved into the carrier of social education,with the integration of social teaching,through the social leadership,family education and self-cultivation together to build a harmonious society.This article takes Henan folk ancestral temple as the research object,takes Henan province as the geographical background,through the examination literature material,the On-the-spot investigation as well as the sociological analysis method,carries on the research to the Central Plains area Ancestral Hall architecture and the culture.Taking837 folk ancestral temples in 18 cities of Henan Province as an example,this paper sums up and summarizes the regional characteristics,architectural construction,architectural decoration and ancestral culture of the ancestral hall.To seek the social utility and influence of the function in ancestral temple culture,architectural culture reveal the subjective meaning and social attribute of Ancestral hall architecture.Theresults of the study,ancestral temple architectural culture in the social education function,promoting the Central Plains culture and people’s aesthetic,inspiring the creative ways of Henan Folk art,enhancing the Chinese nation’s cultural self-confidence,and enhancing cultural competitiveness of the role.Meanwhile,it provides valuable reference for the renovation of ancestral hall and the construction of beautiful countryside.
