Study On Ecological Efficiency Evaluation And Improvement Path Of Coal Enterprises

The coal industry is our traditional energy industry,is an important part of the national economy,the extensive development of the coal industry caused a series of problems such as excess production capacity,unbalanced supply and demand and serious pollution of ecological environment.Nowadays,China’s economic development has entered a new normal,supply-side structural reform and energy revolution are advancing simultaneously,and deep-seated contradictions such as coal industry structure,enterprise management level and development concept keep emerging.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to conduct relevant research on the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises.Taking coal enterprises as the research object,this paper evaluates the static situation of the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises by using the super efficiency SBM model.The Malmquist-Luenberger index method was used to analyze the dynamic trend of eco-efficiency in coal enterprises.Finally,combined with the time series model-VAR model,further analyzed the factors affecting the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises,and put forward specific suggestions.The empirical results of this paper are as follows:(1)The ecological efficiency evaluation index system of coal enterprises is constructed.According to the definition that ecological efficiency includes both economic factors and environmental factors,on the basis of considering the particularity of coal enterprises,the pollutants discharged by coal enterprises are included into the ecological efficiency evaluation system as the non-expected output,and the ecological efficiency evaluation system of coal enterprises including the non-expected output is constructed.(2)Evaluate the static and dynamic situation of ecological efficiency of coal enterprises.By constructing the evaluation index system of ecological efficiency of coal enterprises,the super efficiency SBM method is used to make static analysis of the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises,and the Malmquist-Luenberger index method is used to make dynamic analysis of the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises.The ecological efficiency of coal enterprises has not reached the effective level and is far behind other coal enterprises in the coal industry.The ecological efficiency is in a vicious downward trend with an average annual growth rate of-2%,which is mainly caused by the low level of technological innovation and poor management of the enterprises.(3)The factors influencing the eco-efficiency of coal enterprises are analyzed.In this paper,the vector autoregressive model is used to make an in-depth analysis of the influencing factors,and the influences of employee education level,environmental protection input,enterprise scale and asset-liability ratio on enterprise eco-efficiency are described respectively.The improvement of employee education level has a 10.8%negative impact on eco-efficiency,and the increase of environmental protection input has a 10.8% positive impact on eco-efficiency.The impact of enterprise scale expansion on eco-efficiency changes from positive to negative,with a negative impact of 8.3%,and the increase of asset-liability ratio has a positive impact of 2.2% on ecoefficiency.(4)Put forward the strategy of improving the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises.Through the evaluation of the ecological efficiency of coal enterprises and the analysis of influencing factors,combined with the era background of green development,the paper puts forward specific suggestions from the aspects of technological innovation,management level,collaborative development and social responsibility,so as to promote the sustainable development of coal enterprises and improve their core competitiveness in the coal industry.This paper has 14 figures,14 tables and 71 references.
