In recent years,with the publicity of "we media" platforms,the broadcasting of wonderful events at home and abroad and the improvement of people’s sports awareness,the development speed of basketball has taken a qualitative leap,which also leads to the influx of a large number of basketball shoes into the market and the increasingly fierce market competition.Domestic brand basketball shoes face high similarity,serious design homogeneity,product lack of deep meaning and other problems,for example,on the macro level,brand series of shoes gene continuity is not enough,lack of design language;Microcosmic,a single pair of shoes modeling language can not let the user understand its design connotation.Consumers not only value product quality,but also want the design of the shoes to meet their aesthetic needs.This phenomenon is caused by the neglect of product semiotics in product semiotics.Therefore,it is very necessary to introduce product semiotics theory into basketball shoes modeling design.First of all,based on product semiotics,this paper constructs the symbol expression system of basketball shoe modeling,analyzes the semantics expressed by the key design elements in basketball shoe modeling,and further analyzes the development trend of basketball shoe modeling combined with the current background of The Times.Secondly,the core of this paper is to regard basketball shoe modeling as a collection of symbols that convey some or some semantics,and establish a symbol communication system for basketball shoe modeling.With the help of the content of semantics in Morris’ s semiotic theory,the role of key design elements in the communication system is studied.Then,the semantic difference scale is constructed for intention investigation,the correlation between the design elements of basketball shoes modeling and extracted semantics is analyzed,the key modeling set suitable for basketball shoes products is extracted,and the design strategy is summarized.Combine design strategy and three principles of product semiotics called product semantics,product constructivism and product pragmatics,it can be used to guide design practice.Due to the particularity of basketball shoes products,part of the semantic belonging to the group and the background culture level cannot be well expressed through modeling,so it needs to be interpreted with the help of color and material.Therefore,semantic hierarchy analysis is carried out for basketball shoes products to analyze the role of modeling,color and material in semantic expression.After that,key words are extracted and intention drawing is sought to provide reference for the design part,and then design practice is carried out.Finally,the design evaluation was carried out by means of product comparison,semantic difference method and interview method to verify whether the method used in the article fits well with the basketball shoe modeling design.From the perspective of product semiotics,this paper studies the modeling design of basketball shoes,explores a new method for the design of basketball shoes,studies the regularity between various design elements and semantics,and improves the decipherable and recognizable degree of basketball shoes modeling.It is innovative and exploratory to a certain extent,and can provide theoretical reference for the research of similarity theory and the design of products of the same type. |
