Research On Female Dress In Movies Of Republic Of China And Practice Of Stage Dress Design

During the period of the Republic of China,China was in the critical period when the old society disintegrated and the new society formed.The fierce collision of the old and new cultural ideas caused the change of the life style of the people in the Republic of China,and the costume of the Republic of China had a great change,reflecting the change of the relationship between people and clothes,social psychology,material culture and other aspects.The costume of the Republic of China is an important part of the traditional Chinese costume culture,which contains a high cultural and artistic theoretical research value.From the perspective of the history of Chinese costume,the costume reform in the Republic of China is the most significant.The movie costume of the Republic of China,as the epitome of the costume of the Republic of China,is a fresh "specimen" with an insight into the development of the costume of the Republic of China.It can enrich the modeling language and morphological characteristics of clothing in the Republic of China,so as to improve the traditional Chinese clothing culture.This paper takes the female clothing in the movies of the Republic of China as the research object.Firstly,it makes a multidimensional analysis of the characteristics of female clothing in the movies,and combs the aesthetic fashion of the Republic of China shown by the characteristics of female clothing in the movies of the Republic of China from the aspects of film type,cycle change,dress style and so on.Then,it studies the production approach and factors affecting the design of film costumes in the Republic of China.It starts from the aspects of era change,artistic movement and social form,and summarizes the theories.Finally,it draws the conclusion that film costumes in the Republic of China experienced the process from tradition to westernization and then to the integration of the East and the West,and all kinds of changes are closely related to the change of design ideas in the Republic of China.Among them,the design thought in the Republic of China roughly experienced the following three changes:firstly,the popularity of traditional art in the period of national culture,secondly,the trend of decoratism caused by the call of aesthetic education and national salvation,and then the modernist fashion formed after the birth of new democracy,and finally constituted the costume fashion of the Republic of China film.In the practical part,by studying the design and application elements of modern stage clothing of the Republic of China,the process of designing and making stage clothing guided by theory is completed,and the creative extension and commercialization attempt of modern stage clothing of the Republic of China is carried out.
