The 20th report of the Party points out that "we should promote the integration of vocation and education,industry and education,science and education,and optimize the orientation of vocational education".In terms of orientation,vocational education is to cultivate applied technical and skilled talents around the needs of the country and society.Therefore,the talent training of vocational education gives more attention to students’ practical ability."Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing" is one of the major professional courses offered by horticulture majors and agricultural products storage and processing majors in secondary vocational schools.Its courses is closely related to the actual life and have strong practicality.However,at present,secondary vocational students in the course of professional knowledge,theory and practice is not close enough,which is misplaced with the current agricultural field of employment standards.The Case teaching method is theory-based and practice-oriented,which can effectively cultivate students’ ability to analyze and use theoretical knowledge and solve practical problems.Based on this,this study introduces the Case teaching method into the course of "Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing" in secondary vocational schools,in order to improve students’ ability to combine theory and practice through case teaching design and implementation.Through the investigation of the present situation of course teaching in “Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing” in the Xinyang G secondary vocational school,We aim to understand the shortcomings of the current course teaching,after analyzing the course content and objectives,combined with constructivism learning theory,humanism learning theory,example teaching theory on the basis of teaching design,teaching implementation and evaluation was performed.With "root vegetable storage technology" and "dry fruit and vegetable products technology" as examples,taking the class preparation,class,after-class evaluation as teaching example,we invited professional teachers to evaluate.At the end of the practice,we investigated students’ teaching experience,interactive experience,harvest experience,schoolwork burden through questionnaire survey.and combined with students interview,we try to understand the practical effect of Case teaching method in the Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing course and reflect on the implementation process.The results show that the case teaching method applied to secondary vocational Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing teaching has effectiveness and practicality,combined with teaching practice draw the following conclusions: 1.Application in the Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing teaching Case teaching method,should pay attention to the case teaching method practical and enlightening advantages,so as to promote the construction of students’ knowledge and ability.2.The application of Case teaching method in teaching should pay attention to guiding students to think and analyze problems in the role of managers,so as to help students solve problems in real problem situations and improve students’ practical ability to use theoretical knowledge to solve common problems in storage and processing.3.The application of Case teaching method should focus on the improvement of students ’classroom experience,promote students’ positive interaction and stimulate students’ learning motivation. |
