Secondary vocational education is an important part of vocational education system and the starting point of vocational education.The construction of modern vocational education system needs secondary vocational education to play a better basic role.To lay a good foundation for vocational education,we need to improve the quality of education and teaching,connect curriculum theory with life practice,and train professional and skilled talents in the new era.Case teaching is a teaching method that emphasizes student-centeredness,cultivates students’ ability of communication and expression and enhances students’ interest through cooperation,exchange and interaction.The course "Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing" has a strong connection with practical life.The application of case teaching method in the course "Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing" in secondary vocational schools can strengthen the connection and transformation of students’ theoretical knowledge and practical life,and establish a knowledge system.However,at present,there are few reference provided for the case teaching on "Fruit and Vegetables Storage and Processing",which makes it difficult for teachers to use adopt case teaching method and prepare teaching design.Therefore,this study takes chapter 2 "Main fruit and vegetable storage technology" as an example on the basis of case teaching method.This paper constructs the strategies and methods of case teaching method for the course of fruit and vegetable storage and processing in secondary vocational schools,and carries on the practice,to provide a reference for the application of case teaching method in the classroom of secondary vocational teachers.Based on relevant theories,this study described all links of teaching practice of case teaching method in the course of Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing,and solved the problem of "how to design?It also gives an overview of the implementation principles,design process and post-course evaluation design of the case teaching method,and elaborates on the principles and basic components of the most important part of the case teaching method,namely the preparation of cases.Taking the second chapter of "Main fruit and vegetable storage technology" in the course of "Fruit storage and Processing" as an example,two teaching examples of"main fruit storage technology--stone fruit" and "main vegetable storage technology--roots" were selected for applying and demostrating and were presented in three stages: pre-class preparation,classroom implementation and post-class reflection.Through classroom observation table and students self-evaluation of mutual table,the effect of classroom implementation was evaluated,and a questionnaire was used to investigate the students’ attitudes and feelings towards the application of the case study method to "Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing",and conclusions were drawn.finally,in view of the deficiency in the process of practice,optimized suggestions are put forward.The results show that the practical effect of case teaching method in the course of Fruit and Vegetable Storage and Processing in secondary vocational schools is worthy affirming,and students have good positive effects in terms of the degree of adaptation to case teaching and the improvement of their personal ability.1.Case teaching method is an active and effective teaching method for the course of fruit and vegetable storage and processing in secondary vocational schools.2.The application of case teaching method in curriculum plays a positive role in secondary vocational students’ learning.3.The teaching design according to this research method is good and effective.It is believed that with the gradual development and maturity of case teaching method in the future,it will play a greater role in promoting the teaching of secondary vocational agriculture-related specialty. |
