| As social intelligence continues to evolve and the population ages,it is becoming increasingly important to consider age-appropriate design for various products.Pharmaceuticals are an important item in everyday life and its audience is diverse, with older adults being the primary consumers. However, pharmaceutical packaging is often not designed with an aging audience in mind, resulting in difficulties for older adults with visual impairments. In order to improve the medication experience of older adults, this project focused on designing pharmaceutical packaging that takes into account the visual characteristics of the aging population. The project began by defining the functions of pharmaceutical packaging and information visualization design and identifying its potential to improve the efficiency of information communication. The low visibility of information on pharmaceutical packaging was attributed to visual degradation caused by physiological aging, and the needs of the elderly for pharmaceutical packaging design were analyzed in the context of the current state of pharmaceutical packaging design.Through case studies,it is found that the use of information visualization design can effectively improve the visibility and enhance the visual recognition of information. The principles of information visualization of pharmaceutical packaging are further proposed, and the directions and strategies for the design of pharmaceutical information visualization are identified, focusing on efficiency, logic and comfort.Relevant design approaches are summarized to improve the visual needs of older adults, including readable typography, combined graphic and textual aids for description, appropriate layout, and the use of color mood to guide interaction.By incorporating these design elements, drug information can be quickly and effectively communicated to audiences, improving the functionality and efficiency of drug packaging information delivery. The project provides reference content for relevant theory and practice. |
