| In the background of population aging, the elderly group has gradually become the object of attention from all walks of life.As a group with a high incidence of diseases, the elderly occupy a high share of the drug consumption market and have a large demand for drugs, but the existing drug packaging design has certain recognition barriers for the elderly, which is very likely to produce drug safety problems. How to meet the needs of the elderly for drug packaging, improve the accuracy and convenience of medication has become an urgent problem to be solved. The application of augmented reality technology in packaging design makes up for the shortcomings of traditional packaging design in carrying limited information and single visual form, and shows the characteristics of multi-dimensional perception and real-time interaction, which provides new ideas for the design of pharmaceutical packaging for the elderly audience. The paper uses case study and research methods to analyze the current situation of drug packaging design for the elderly audience, and summarize the personalized needs of the elderly audience for drug packaging design.Based on this,we discuss the drug packaging design strategies based on augmented reality technology in packaging design, and explore the design strategies of physical drug packaging design, virtual drug information design and augmented reality interaction design,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for practice. The design of pharmaceutical packaging for the elderly is carried out by undertaking user needs and design strategies, and finally the performance of augmented reality pharmaceutical packaging is verified through usability testing. This is not only to use digital technology to better serve the elderly, but also to provide more possibilities for the application of augmented reality technology in packaging design. |
