An Application Of Information Visualization In The Packaging Of Aged-food

Food packaging is everywhere in our life,is not only the basis for us to obtain information,choose and buy products,but also the carrier of food circulation,However,for the current food packaging market,the visual and physiological characteristics of food packaging for the elderly group are not paid enough attention to,and there are a series of deficiencies,so it is imperative to carry out the relevant packaging redesign.This paper is mainly aimed at the optimal old text selection problem existing in food packaging and color design and logic layout problems to carry on the design practice and study and explore the application of visual information design in packaging,hope can through the information visualization design of barrier-free identification in the information to facilitate the elderly to choose.First of all,through literature reading,data search to understand the current food packaging design of the age-appropriate.Secondly,through the form of questionnaire,case study and field visit,this paper summarizes a series of problems existing in the packaging of suitable old food.At the same time,the information visualization design is deeply analyzed to explore its design principles and design methods in the packaging of food suitable for the elderly.On the basis of following the principle of diversity,identification and logic,a reasonable design method is sought by considering the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly.Lastly,"Yi Shi Bai Sui" optimum old food brands as sample of design practice study,choosing three representative packaging of products,through the text,graphics,color information,information in the design practice of barrier-free recognition,show the information visualization information transfer efficiency,to a certain extent,solve the current problems existing in the old food packaging.
