| With the advancement of technology,an increasing number of manufacturing companies are starting to use it for production and operations management,enhancing their operational effectiveness and fostering their growth.A number of challenging issues,such as the difficulty in determining the extent of enterprise informatization,poor utilization of information systems,and misalignment with corporate management,have surfaced for enterprise information management.This article uses JF Manufacturing Company,a small and medium-sized manufacturing business,as its research subject in order to analyze related information management difficulties and determine how to approach their resolution.This study’s first section examines the overall business and information operation state of JF Manufacturing Company using the theories of enterprise information assets,utility theory,and risk theory in conjunction with on-site visits and survey data.Based on this,the effectiveness of JF Manufacturing Company’s information management has been summarized and extracted.JF Manufacturing Company has achieved standardization and normalization of data and business processes,continuous improvement of product quality,lean production,cost reduction and efficiency increase,and improved the company’s operational efficiency and talent cultivation through information management.Second,the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was used to build a model of an information assessment system for small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses.The JF Manufacturing Company’s information management was assessed using the FCE fuzzy evaluation approach,and the current issues it is facing with its information management were examined.The main issues were that certain functions of the current information management system did not meet the evolving needs of enterprise development,that data development and utilization were insufficient,that human resources were relatively insufficient,and that information security measures were insufficient.The causes of these issues were the lack of systematic information construction,a lack of understanding of basic information work,and an insufficient depth and breadth of information management.Based on this,a set of optimization plans has been proposed to promote the transformation of information technology strategy,accelerate the construction of the company’s information system,accelerate the adaptation and adjustment of management and business processes,ensure the development of information management through multi-level talent construction,and strengthen information security through standardized systems and behaviors,in order to achieve the optimization of information management in JF Manufacturing Company.Despite the fact that the research in this article is primarily concerned with the optimization of information management for JF manufacturing companies,the information management process and outcomes,the information evaluation system model for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises,and the information management optimization plan can all offer useful examples and value for businesses of a similar size. |
