Under the strong impetus of the National New Energy Car Policy,China’s lithium electric new energy car market has been booming,and the lithium electric industry has also welcomed the spring.According to a 2023 research report by Guangdong Kai Securities,China’s new energy vehicle penetration increased from5.4% to 25.6% between 2020 and 2022.With the rapid increase of market size and rapid development of industry,the growth rate of talents in lithium electric industry lags far behind the development rate of product market,and the number and comprehensive quality of employees severely restrict the further development of the industry.As a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the comprehensive exploitation and utilization of lithium mica resources,YW has also encountered the bottleneck of talent development under the background of the rapid development of the new energy industry.Based on the analysis of YW company’s organizational structure,human resource status,and talent ladder construction,this thesis finds out the problems and reasons of YW company’s talent ladder construction,then identifies the key positions that affect the rapid development of the enterprise,and constructs the competency model for key positions,then constructs the qualification system and the talent pool based on the competency model.Optimal measures are put forward in the selection and training of talents.The results show that talent ladder construction is a complex system engineering,and the ability model can help enterprises to carry out human resource management and improve the efficiency of talent ladder construction.As a rapidly growing enterprise in the lithium battery industry chain,YW has a certain particularity from the perspective of the whole industry,and is the epitome of many enterprises in the lithium battery industry.This research can help YW to find solutions for talent ladder construction,provide human resource support for sustainable development of the company,and serve as a reference for similar development bottleneck enterprises in the lithium industry.In addition,the selection of YW Corporation as the research object can enrich the theory of talent ladder construction based on competency model in rapid-growth enterprises to some extent,and provide corresponding literature support for further research.
