Comprehensive Evaluation Of Eco-environmental Quality Of Central Cities In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

Eco-environmental quality has so tight relation with human activities.Ecological civilization construction bears on human well-being and the future of the nation.The Yangtze River economic belt has a superior geographical location,and the importance of its ecological and environmental quality is self-evident.Under the promotion of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee,The provinces and cities along the river have taken a series of environmental restoration measures,with slight results.However,the form of environmental protection is still severe,the water and air pollution is serious,the forest resources are sharply reduced,and the governance ability can not catch up with the speed of environmental destruction.The research on eco-environmental quality evaluation is the basis of coordinating human activities and the harmonious coexistence of environmental quality.According to the current situation of environmental development,scientific countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the virtuous cycle of eco-environmental system.Therefore,this article employs the eco-environmental quality data of thirteen central cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt(including Shanghai,Nanjing,Wuxi,Changzhou,Suzhou,Hangzhou,Ningbo and Hefei in the Yangtze River Delta,Wuhan,Changsha and Nanchang in the midstream,and Chengdu and Chongqing in the upstream of the Yangtze River)from 2011 to 2019 as the research target.Based on the pressure state response(PSR)framework model,the quality target system of overall merit central cities in the Yangtze River economic belt is selected from the three levels of stress,state and response;The principal component analysis based on sensitivity is used to screen the index system and give the index weight,so as to eliminate the information overlap among the indexes;Time is weighted by time degree theory,and TOPSIS Model Based on prospect theory is established;To explore the comprehensive score and dynamic change of ecological environment quality of the Yangtze River Economic Zone thirteen key cities in 2011-2019 nine years.Through empirical analysis,some results are as following:Firstly,from 2011 to 2019,the eco-environmental quality of 13 central cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt maintained a certain stability in changes.Secondly,from the static comprehensive evaluation value,Wuxi,Changzhou,Hangzhou and other places rank first in the score of ecological environment quality,while cities with high economic development level such as Wuhan and Chongqing rank lower in the score of ecological environment quality.The ecological environment quality of Shanghai has been improved year by year,and the corresponding comprehensive ranking is also rising.Thirdly,from the dynamic comprehensive evaluation results,considering the geographical location,most of the kernel cities in the Yangtze River Delta in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces belong to coastal areas,with superior natural environment,and the level of social development is commensurate with the quality of ecological environment;Wuhan and other kernel cities in midstream of the Yangtze River and the kernel cities of Chengdu Chongqing urban agglomeration with Chongqing as the core have relatively poor climate conditions,more industrial emissions,and their ecological environment quality lags behind the process of industrialization.Based on the above conclusions,we have a certain understanding of the eco-environmental quality of the three urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River economic belt.The three urban agglomerations sit on the golden waterway.All central cities should take the lead,pay attention to environmental protection,actively implement the concept of green,coordinated,and driving sustainability,take the road of ecological civilization,push forward the high-quality development of the Yangtze River economic zone,and maintain the authenticity and integrity of the Yangtze River economic belt.
