Rural green development, especially agriculture, which is closely related to rural areas,is related to national food safety, resource security and ecological security, and is an important foundation for a country’s sustainable social and economic development. However, with the increasing development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, rural development is faced with prominent problems such as ecological degradation, low efficiency in resource utilization, and intensified disaster risks. The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important agricultural production area and rural cluster area in China.Computing and analyzing the level of rural green development is conducive to accurately positioning the bottleneck of rural green development, exploring forward-looking experience and playing a leading role in green area. There is an obvious gap in production, living and ecological conditions among rural areas within the Yangtze River Economic Belt. Therefore,it is necessary to explore the spatial imbalance and influencing factors, promote the joint construction and sharing of the green rural development achievements, realize coordinated regional development, and promote the rural revitalization strategy faster and better. Thus,Based on the analysis of sustainable development theory, green development theory, complex giant system theory and spatial equilibrium theory, firstly,by defining the connotation of rural green development, the evaluation index system of rural green development based on the perspective of "three living space" is constructed. And the TOPSIS-Grey correlation method was used to calculate the rural green development level and its subsystem level of the 11 provinces of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in2016-2020.Secondly,exploratory spatial data analysis, standard deviation elliptic model,Dagum Gini coefficient decomposition are used to analyze its spatially unbalanced characteristics. It was then probed for single-and two-factor interactions with a geodetector model, research findings are as follows:From the evaluation results, during 2016-2020,the overall rural green development level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt tends to rise, and the development gap between regions is large, decreasing in a downstream-middle-upstream gradient pattern;the areas with high rural green development level encounter a bottleneck, and the growth rate and the competitive advantage are reduced;the level of rural green development subsystem shows different fluctuation trend,so it is necessary to improve the level of rural green living and government green support subsystem. From the perspective of spatial distribution, the all-region Moran’s I index in 2016 and 2020 shows that the Yangtze River Economic Belt presents the overall significant and positive spatial correlation characteristics, and the agglomeration effect of rural green development is obvious.Local spatial autocorrelation shows that the Yangtze River Delta region presents obvious radiation effect between regions, and the high and high agglomeration areas form regional driving advantages form a benign development pattern. The shift of center of gravity shows that the spatial distribution of green development level in rural areas is dominated by east-west and converges to north-south.The Dagum Gini coefficient of the Yangtze River Economic Belt tends to decline in the upper, middle and lower reaches, and the regional differences take up most to the Dagum Gini coefficient of the rural green development level in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. From the perspective of influencing factors, the industrial structure puts the largest average impact on the level of rural green development, and the environmental impact and rural human capital on the level of rural green development show a trend of decline year by year. All the factor interaction results showed enhancement, and the combined effect of any two explanatory variables would have a great impact on the spatial differentiation of rural green development level. Finally,it targets policy recommendations as well as shortcomings and outlook for the main findings of the study.Figure [17] table [15] reference [95]...
