| Urban outdoor cold-weather clothing refers to modern cold-weather clothing that is both functional for outdoor wear and fashionable for daily commuting in cold seasons.Boosted by the "Winter Olympics effect",the concept of healthy living has led to the integration of outdoor leisure activities into the daily lifestyle of modern people,with consumers rooted in the identity of urban life on the one hand,and seeking activities,connection and healing in outdoor nature on the other.However,modern cold-weather clothing generally suffers from over-performance,inflated prices and serious product homogenization,failing to meet consumers’ individual needs.In this study,in order to make cold-weather clothing more adaptable to people’s cold season life pattern nowadays,we take urban outdoor life pattern as the research object and optimize cold-weather clothing products as the research purpose.Through literature reading method,questionnaire survey method,case study method and other research methods,we combine urban outdoor concept and cold-weather clothing design method to put forward relevant product design and brand development guidance suggestions for future cold-weather clothing optimization direction.Firstly,the concepts and development history of cold-proof clothing and urban outdoor style were sorted out,and the forms and characteristics of urban outdoor cold-proof clothing were summarized by combining the characteristics of both.Secondly,we conducted a questionnaire survey on consumers using the AIO Life Style Scale,and classified them into "economic and pragmatic","quality pursuing","personality and fashion" and "value balance" through reliability analysis,factor analysis and cluster analysis."We analyzed the demographic characteristics and preferences of consumers in the market segments,which provided some theoretical support for the de-homogenization of urban outdoor clothing products.Based on the similarities and differences of consumer demands,we propose three development suggestions for existing cold-weather clothing: rationalization of functions,individualization of positioning and diversification of products.The product needs are also ranked according to consumers’ common preferences,from high to low,as material performance,outdoor function,product quality,portability,scene adaptability,fashion,brand added value,and maintenance management.The nine optimization dimensions of warmth,fit,protection,portability,compatibility,stylization,branding,environmental protection,and technology were summarized according to the needs for cold-weather clothing,and the proposed optimization dimensions were discussed using the case study method for the design method.Finally,based on the theoretical study and design case study,a design practice study was conducted in the graduation design "Ruins".A series of work such as inspirational conception,design drawing,pattern making,correction,and ready-to-wear were carried out to try out the urban outdoor style in modern winter wear.Through the above research and practice,the following conclusions were drawn: firstly,the popularity of urban outdoor lifestyle will set off a fashion boom in the field of clothing that is both functional and fashionable;secondly,the product development stage should actively focus on market segments,grasp the general direction of product demand while precisely positioning products according to the differences in consumer demand;thirdly,modern urban outdoor winter wear should be combined with modern technology and life concepts to enrich Third,modern urban outdoor winter wear should combine modern technology and life philosophy to enrich the design connotation,deepen the inner connection between functionality and fashion,take local leisure activity culture as the core,clarify consumer positioning and combine pragmatic and aesthetic design... |
