Green and innovative development is an important part of China’s modern economic transformation and high-quality development.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important economic belt in China and one of the economic belts with the strongest comprehensive strength.The report to the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that promoting green economic and social development is a key link to achieving high-quality development,and once again made systematic plans for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.‘Green’ and ‘innovation’ are the core components of the new development concept and the key road to promote the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.In addition,the spatial distribution of green innovation driving forces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt shows the characteristics of non-equilibrium and gradient.This paper focuses on the measurement and spatial correlation study of green innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and explores the changing trend of green innovation efficiency of provinces within the region and the action forms of each influencing variable.The research conclusions have certain significance for the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Based on the theories of regional innovation,green innovation and sustainable development,this paper studies the sample data of 11 provinces in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2008 to 2020.Theoretical analysis defines the connotation of green innovation development,combs the mainstream measurement methods of regional green innovation efficiency in academic circles,explores the influencing factors and spatial correlation research of green innovation efficiency in depth,and builds the basic theoretical framework.Specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,in order to effectively measure the green innovation efficiency of various regions in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,a measurement indicator system for green innovation efficiency is constructed,and the spatiotemporal variation characteristics and current situation of each indicator variable are analyzed.The SBM super efficiency model is used to measure the green innovation efficiency values of 11 provinces under the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2008 to 2020.From the measurement results,it is found that over time,the green innovation efficiency values of the vast majority of provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as a whole show signs of increasing,with the average value of green innovation efficiency in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River being the highest.The spatial distribution of green innovation efficiency values in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is displayed.Secondly,it analyzes the influencing factors of green innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Referring to the view of scholars that the level of environmental regulation in a region has a significant impact on the efficiency of green innovation,an evaluation index system is constructed and the entropy weight method is used to calculate the level of environmental regulation.Using a systematic GMM model,this paper reveals the impact mechanism of environmental regulation and other factors on the overall level of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the efficiency of green innovation in various regions.The results show that the level of environmental regulation on the overall level has a significant promoting effect on the growth of green innovation efficiency,and the results of each region are consistent with the overall level.Then,the paper analyzes the spatial correlation of green innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The spatial weight matrix was set according to the development differences among the regions of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and the spatial correlation and agglomeration were analyzed.The global and local autocorrelation tests were conducted for the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The spatial econometric method is introduced,and the spatial Durbin model with fixed time is constructed to analyze the spatial correlation of green innovation efficiency,and the effect is decomposed.The results show that there is a significant spatial correlation of green innovation efficiency in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,and the modes of each lag variable are different.Finally,based on the empirical research results,it provides some theoretical basis and reference suggestions for the development process of green innovation in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. |
