| Under the background of the new normal economy, the state has put forward the strategic deployment of the civilization system, and realizing the green. At present, the Yangtze River economic belt is facing a serious situation of "heavy chemical pollution",so we have to pay attention to the problem of environmental pollution. In order to deal with the increasingly serious environmental problems, relevant regulatory measures have been formulated and introduced. To explore the role of environmental regulation on green innovation is conducive to the green development. In view of this, this paper takes the impact of environmental regulation on green innovation in the Yangtze River economic belt as the research topic, first analyzes and constructs the conceptual framework model of the impact of environmental regulation on green innovation in theory, and then based on the relevant statistical data of 104 prefecture level cities from 2007 to 2017,uses exploratory spatial data to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics. Then,we use the static and dynamic spatial Durbin model to test the impact of environmental regulation on green innovation. Finally,in order to further explore the role of environmental regulation on green innovation,we introduce regulatory variables regional corruption, and consider the relationship between environmental regulation and green innovation under the effect of regulatory variables,so as to provide suggestions for stimulating green innovation and coordinating regional environmental regulation policies. The main research results are as follows.Firstly, normative analysis and logical reasoning are used to analyze and construct the theoretical framework of environmental regulation influencing green innovation. After this paper comprehend the impact process and mechanism of environmental regulation combined with relevant theories, and constructs relevant theoretical models from two aspects of including spatial effect and removing spatial effect.Secondly, the spatial distribution characteristics and autocorrelation of environmental regulation and green innovation are studied, and then the spatial correlation characteristics of environmental regulation and green innovation are analyzed by combining with bivariate spatial autocorrelation analysis. The results show that both environmental regulation and green innovation in the Yangtze River economic belt have the spatial distribution characteristics of high and low.The green innovation ability of the Yangtze River economic belt is insufficient. The high green innovation in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt is characterized by the center spreading to the surrounding, while the green innovation in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt is characterized by low level and high degree of agglomeration. The concentration of environmental regulation intensity is obvious, and the lower reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt form an obvious high-intensity environmental regulation agglomeration area with a cluster filling trend. There is a significant spatial correlation between environmental regulation and green innovation And there is a certain spatial correlation between them, showing an obvious "U" shape.Then,GLS,2SLS and GMM are used to illustrate that heteroscedasticity and endogeneity have no significant effect on the robustness of the model. After the establishment of the "green regulation" model,we find that green regulation has a significant negative effect on environmental innovation. From the perspective of different regions, the spatial effect of environmental regulation is inconsistent. From a dynamic perspective, green innovation has a dynamic effect, there is a time-space dependence, the current green innovation will be affected by the previous green innovation, and it is significantly positive. Finally,in view of the impact of corruption on policy implementation and the prominent phenomenon of regional corruption, this paper tests the moderating effect of regional corruption on the relationship between environmental regulation and green innovation, and expounds the internal logic of the impact of it.The results show that regional corruption will directly have a significant negative effect on green innovation, and also change the impact of environmental regulation on green innovation through regulation.Specifically, regional corruption has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between the two, that is,the negative effect of environmental regulation on green innovation increases with the improvement of regional corruption level. This paper theoretically analyzes the influence environmental regulation on green innovation. In addition, this paper introduces the spatial effect of the variables into the econometric model after the common panel analysis of heteroscedasticity and endogeneity of the model, and analyzes it from both static and dynamic aspects. This is conducive to a more realistic analysis of the impact of environmental regulation on green innovation in the Yangtze River economic belt, and enrich the empirical research in related fields. This paper also considers the moderating effect of regional corruption on the relationship between the environmental regulation and green innovation in the Yangtze River economic belt. |
